I am a qualified dog trainer with The Institute of Modern Dog Trainers. I use to work as a coach for Dogs Trust Dog School before returning back to the RSPCA as a canine trainer working with rescue dogs which I love doing. I only use positive reward based training making it a positive experience for both dogs and their owners. I offer 1-1 sessions in your home or group classes. Follow the page for

1-1 Sessions - £40 per hour

Group classes - 5 week course - £75

Puppy Courses puppies aged up to 20 Weeks
Adolescent Courses - Dogs 20 weeks old - 18
months old
Adult Courses - from 18 months old

At the end of your course your Puppy or Dog will receive a certificate.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of taking Buddy to his human Mum and Dad's wedding.
He was so well behaved... sat patiently whilst people came to great him, and sat perfect for photos.

I've had the pleasure of looking after these 2 whilst their humans have been away, and what an amazing pair they are.
Weve had lovely walks out, and plenty of snuggles on the sofa. Safe to say it'll be a pleasure to look after them again.

Next up... this lovely lad. He's already done a basic training course with me and Scent work, but still struggling with working around other dogs. He gets super excited and fixated.

What his owners haven't seen is infact they have done amazing work with him since I last saw him and the change in him is fantastic.

We used Scent wirk to help.with being around digs today and I'm sure with practice he will work wonders x

Double Trouble today

Been to see these 2 sisters today and what lovely ladies they are. They're rescues with only part history known. They've settle brilliant in the home, but needing work on outside the house when it comes to other dogs. I'm sure with positive reinforcement reward based training they will do brilliant.

Something happened few weeks ago and I can now share this with everyone.

I have taken on a position with Dog First Aid - Derby and East Staffordshire teaching Dog First Aid.

Dog First Aid is something very important to me, so teaching it will be an absolute pleasure.

Don't panic though... I will still be walking your dogs and doing 1-1 training and running classes.

Im So excited to start this new adventure alongside my own business working with a fantastic company

Yesterday Sheba's Pawsitive Puppy and Dog Training, Walking & pet Sitting we ran our Sheba's Pawsitive Dog Show at Melbourne Animal Farm.... and wow what an amazing day.
Thank you to all the stall holders who set up with us to make the day more enjoyable.
I'd like to say an extra special thank you to Karen Jewell and Alex Jewell our judges who not only did they Judge but also behind the scenes helped to make the day happen.

Also thank you to those who came alive for the show, the atmosphere was amazing, I was buzzing watching you all amazing dog owners with your dogs.

Over all we made £465 for the animals at Melbourne Animal Farm where Carla works hard to make sure these animals are well cared for.

Watch this space.... we will run a nother show

Another fantastic class Week 2 Bronze UK Sniffer dog class.

We have 2 young Puppies in class, but also Nicola Bate who runs classes with me.brought her 15 year old dog who absolutely smashed it.

Little Rosie update..
Remember Rosie... Who was bitten by a spider here in the UK? Well what an amazing transformation. I got to work with this lucky girl again.
She has completed UK sniffer dogs Bronze and basic training with me during her recovery, and shes now doing her Partnership Grade 1.

She looks absolutely amazing and an very big well done to her mum who has helped her get better. The bond between them is amazing and strong. Keep going Rosie.... Proud of you.

I've had the pleasure to work with this you lady twice this week, and what amazing progress has been made I between each session.
Shes learning when someone knocks on the door, rather than running to the door in excitement shes going to her bed, sitting amd waiting allowing her human to open the door to let people in.

Hi, I am Dani and I operate Dog First Aid in Derbyshire & Staffordshire.

I am "mum" to Ian and Winnie. I rescued Ian (a Jack Russell X Staffy) in Sept 2013 and Winnie (a Staffy X) in Jan 2013.

Having been trained by members of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, I love to train people. I genuinely do a happy dance when I hear back from people who have gone on to save their dogs lives.

I would love to welcome onto a course soon.

Marnie gives a great Indication when she has found the item she's asked to fiind.... not only does she do a brilliant duration but look at her tail. Marnie also leans her body Into the item more Each dog is different.... One dog in class gives a very low tiny tail wag.... another gives eye contact whilst his nose is in the pipe. As a Qualified and accredited dog trainer I'm always learning about dogs and this is also Important when I'm teaching Scent work. Well done everyone. X

Another huge breakthrough with this lad Rusty. He joined me on a other walk today.... with his friend Marnie. Before our walk we popped into Staunton Harold Garden Centre where he greeted my wife who works there. Rusty has always been a little reserved with Ruth when we've gone to visit (his mum and dad are very good friends of ours) but today his confidence e was amazing. Well done superstar xx

My 2nd 1-1 today was another dog who needed help with loose lead walking. Again...our second session and seen huge improvements. Great work xx

The first 1-1 today was loose lead walking with this lady, being only our second session shes done fantastic. Positive reward based training Keep up the hard work

Technical issue lost original post Who remembers Nora...the scared little girl. Well today she's mastered "around a cone" Few weeks ago she would have been scared to even go near this cone. Keep up the good work Nora. Jessica Brannan x

Who remembers anira from a post few weeks back? Well she's back again doing another course to help boost her confidence. Few weeks back she would have been so worried about the cone, wouldn't go near it without panicking. Well today she's work on "around the cone" and aced it. She's blossoming into a brave girl. Well done little lady x

Not the best video. Sometimes just changing that reward helps with that recall. I've started staking different treats out with Gizzi... We are now getting better recall and also check ins x

A fantastic 1-1 with new client today. They really struggling with loose lead walking and unfortunately had been given bad advise and training and advised the wrong equipment (no names of trainers will be given). We've work on door way work to start and to be calmer going out the door and started the basics of loose lead. We've I produced positive reward based method.... And well...after an hour what a huge improvement. Can't wait see you in few weeks see how you're all doing and advance you on.

Juno when I first started working with her use to be such an enthusiastic greater, jumping as high as my head...she now is greating people so much calmer with great management from her humans. She also use to pull horrific on the lead.... Change of harness and a double ended lead, high value treats and lots of practice today she managed the whole session loose lead, and also remaining calm around other dogs when she saw them. Well done...what great team work. Juno is also now going to be starting on our group classes end of this month to work around distraction...dogs and humans.
