🎄Our Christmas Crackers! 🎄

In line with our ethos that a dog is for life, and not just for Christmas, we have officially paused rehoming until the New Year. However, please take a look at our cracking dogs searching for their forever homes. They will be looking forwards to meeting you as soon as 2025 comes around...but for now they are sitting tight, waiting for Santa Paws to arrive! 🐾

A quick thank you goes out to the lovely Grant Baptiste at @, who has chosen us as his designated charity to raise money for this Christmas!

Between now and the 19th December, will be donating 10% of every animal themed tattoo he does, helping us greatly with money raised going towards our vet bills and general running costs of the rescue.

**Special Appeal**

A few months ago we had this little darling arrive to us as a stray, she was very shy, timid and was unable to walk on her hind left leg. After some investigation from the vet, we found that she had no hip joint in that leg and needed surgery. Winnie has now had a full hip replacement. With some crate rest, limited exercise and plenty of cuddles she is now recovering and is looking for her forever home!
Winnie is looking for a calm home with an owner who understands that she has had major surgery. She gets on well with other dogs and would be happy living with both dogs and children. 💞🐾

We are over the moon to have been chosen by the wonderful team at Pets at Home Rayleigh as their partner for this years Santa Paws appeal. 🐾SPECIAL APPEAL🐾
EDNA and GIZMO

At the end of September Edna and Gizmo were found abandoned in a country lane, starved and suffering from chronic skin conditions. They are Frenchie types, aged at just under a year old. With weeks of intensive care and treatment from the team here they are both looking and feeling much better and are now ready to find their forever homes.

We are looking for two separate homes for them. They interact very well with other dogs and would benefit from another dog in the home to learn from. They could possibly live with children aged 10+, they are quite full on and need to learn some manners. 💞

Wow!

Everyone at Acres Way and and all the dogs living here want to say a huge thank you to everyone that saw our food appeal and has donated to us either by our Amazon Wishlist, dropping donations down in person and especially Pets at Home Rayleigh. We have been overwhelmed by everyone's kindness and generosity.

**Dog food appeal** 🐾❤

To all of our lovely supporters, we have reached a point again where our supply of dog food is running particularly low. As you can imagine, we have many hungry mouths to feed, and we go through a large amount of food, daily. We are particularly in need of wet and dry food supplies, and have updated our Amazon wishlist accordingly as we have had many lovely messages asking what we need donations of. If any of you feel you could send a little food parcel our way, ourselves and the doggies would be most grateful 🐶

After a few busy summer months rearing pups they have all happily found loving forever homes!
