🌟 A Massive Thank You! 🌟

To our incredible supporters: YOU are amazing! 🦊🧡

Our team bravely faced horrendous weather conditions to complete their winter marathon walk yesterday, and we couldn't be prouder! However with YOUR support we've not only reached the fundraising target of £15,000 towards the much-needed x-ray machine, but donations are still coming in, bringing us closer and closer to making this vital purchase! 🎉 Check out our progress! https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/xraymachineappeal

Thank you for your unwavering support, for the well wishes you shared with the team, for spreading the word about our appeal and for your generosity. You are the heartbeat of The Fox Project! 🦊🧡 Because of you, we can continue to enhance our care for the sick and injured foxes brought to our hospital.

Together, we’re making a difference! Thank you, Fox Project family! 🙌✨

On Wednesday evening myself and Sean went out to southampton to rescue a fox that was trapped between a shed and a fence on dismantling the fence and getting Fox out he was placed in a carrier ready for us to take away then suddenly he died so I pulled him out. Laid him on the ground and pumped on his little chest and blew in his mouth to our amazement, he came back to life. He is now doing fine. He’s eating drinking and growling at us ,so on Tuesday night he will be released back to where we found him. ❤️❤️Richard ❤️❤️ UP DATE Richard has been released back home ❤️❤️

If you hear an unearthly scream in the dead of night, hopefully it's just a fox. Most of the time, foxes don't make a lot of noise, but when they do, it can ...

It's freezing! ❄️

♥️ Here's how you can help

❄️ Provide shelter - Build a warm, dry, and insulated shelter for the cat. The shelter should be the right size to accommodate the cat while still trapping heat. Line the shelter with straw (not hay). Avoid using towels or blankets, as they can absorb moisture and cats can freeze. Plastic shelters are easier to clean than wooden ones.

❄️ Provide food and water -
Provide dry kibble and fresh drinking water ensuring the water doesn't freeze.

❄️ Bring the cat inside -
If you can, bring them in! Even if it's a spare bedroom or cloakroom.

❄️ Identification -
Door knock. Ask neighbours if they recognise the cat.
Scan for a microchip
Paper collar
Advertise on social media sites and the national lost and found databases.

❄️ If an owned cat has been kicked out. This is against the law and you must report to the RSPCA.

❄️ If a cat is sick or injured, PLEASE take them to a vet. Don't wait for someone else to do it if you can.

❄️ Contact all local shelters and get them onto waiting lists for rescue space.

❄️ We can loan equipment for trapping and scanning in local areas.

♥️ While the country is experiencing an unprecedented cat crisis, we are relying on public help and support more than ever.

♥️ Thank you for helping us to Save a Stray.
