I have a National Diploma and BSc(Hons) Degree in Animal Management. I aim to provide all aspects of animal care - from cleaning out even if it's just the once because you're ill or long term if you're away and don't like leaving you animals in boarding establishments or even if you'd just like someone to pop in during the day to let your cat / dog out for a wee or to give them some company. I also provide dog walking and basic training.

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! We are excited to be back and seeing all your fur babies - we've missed them!

It has come to our attention that a local company has been set up trading under the same name as us aside from one letter's difference.

On this date 10 years ago I officially started my own little business mid university and with a brand new mortgage on our first home.
I never dreamed that we'd still be here 10 years down the line.

Thank you so much, all our present and past clients for making this possible and trusting us with your treasures.
We've shared in your joy, we've welcomed new family members with you and we've been broken hearted alongside you when difficult goodbyes were made this side of the rainbow bridge.
We worried we might not make it through the lockdown but you were all there behind us every step of the way.

Most importantly we've loved every single animal that's come through the doors (both real and metaphorical) and some truly special bonds have been made along the way that will last a lifetime.

We thank you all so much and greatly appreciate you.

Just in case you've missed it, we will be closing slightly earlier for Christmas this year to give the team a little break after working hard all year ☺️

Just a quick reminder that we will be assessing the risk of walks for each pooch individually.
If we feel there's a danger to health for your dog in these temperatures then we will be converting walks to pop ins or play with the pools at day care 🌡️🥵

Our Story

Laur’s Paws was founded by Laura in 2014 during her second year of university. Laura holds both a National Diploma and BSc(Hons) in Animal Management alongside a National Diploma in Feline Psychology and Behaviour.

We were lucky enough right from the start to have had some amazing clients support us and enable us to grow as a company. We are able to offer day care, home boarding, pet visits and dog walks (one-to-one or small groups of up to 4 dogs).

There are now four team members here at Laur’s Paws. We are all very dedicated to the animals that we work with and absolutely love being able to spend our time with your furbabies.

We aim to continue to provide a high standard of care to your four legged friends and enable you to have a worry free day knowing that they are recieving the care that they need.
