Sophisticated Scratch is a small bespoke business based in rural Devon established in 2017 by Mark & Di Gallant cat loving artisans that create handmade cat furniture from English oak. Oak limbs are gathered from fallen trees caused by wind storms and old age and then seasoned for up to two years before we turn them into beautiful sculptures to enhance the home interior while serving as a funct

ional bed or scratcher for cats. Each oak limb goes through a loving process of natural oils and beeswax enhancing their beautiful grain and knot formations for your enjoyment and to stand out in the home in a positive way for the owner to be proud of. Robustly designed to last kitties lifetime you only need to buy once eliminating expensive repetitive replacement costs and needlessly filling up landfill sites with unwanted cat furniture. Sophisticated Scratch offers a re-sisal service for worn sisal and all products come ready to use with no assembly required.
