The mares, foals and yearlings were waiting impatiently for breakfast this morning as Storm Bert picked up again Manes and tails were certainly flying in the wind!
Boys will be boys … Erray Blackberry and Erray Basil are growing bigger and bolder as we slide into autumn. This was taken during one of the rare glimpses of the sun that we’ve had here on the Isle of Mull during “summer“ (and we use the term loosely!!) 2024. Hope our lovely FB followers elsewhere on planet Earth are faring better!
The summer weather hasn’t exactly dazzled on Mull this summer, so the ponies certainly enjoyed having the sun on their backs (albeit briefly!) earlier this week. hope the sunshine has been more generous wherever you are!

She’s back home! Erray Apple Blossom, our first filly foal to be born at @thefauldmull was weaned two weeks ago. Sadly, we don’t have a barn or stable facility suitable for keeping her safely inside here, so we entrusted our beautiful bouncing four-legged bambino into the highly capable hands of Chloe Reade, whose stable and exercise facilities were perfect for this first couple of weeks of Apple’s new, independent life. Thank you so much, Chloe, for making this transition period so smooth - it’s clear that Apple trusts her Auntie Chloe implicitly and highly recommends her (as do we!).
