Note: Red Tail Catfish grow to a colossal 5 feet! They require enormous tanks or ponds, produce significant waste, and can eat smaller tankmates. They are best suited for large/professional aquariums.

🐠 Time for a ! 🌊

✨ Betta fish, also known as Siamese fighting fish, are famous for their 🌈 vibrant colours and territorial nature. Male bettas, in particular, are highly aggressive towards other males and will flare their gills and fins to intimidate rivals. 🐟🔥 This behaviour is why they are called "fighting fish." 🥊

💡 Interestingly, bettas are labyrinth fish, meaning they have a special organ called the labyrinth that allows them to breathe atmospheric air. 🌬️🐟 This adaptation helps them survive in oxygen-depleted waters, such as stagnant ponds or rice paddies, which are their natural habitats. 🌾💦

Let's hear some suggestions for the next fish that should enter the gnarly wood aquarium?
This tank is maturing really well. I do need to get some more botanicals in there as the leaves have broken down quite a lot.
I also need to remove some of the water lettuce because that is now growing crazy!
