Hello my friends.

I'm clean!!!
I took Sam out dancing today, just me and my Sam.

We did a PSG.
And, you know what??
We got a clear round!!!

The percentage was 65.14, my bestest at PSG so far.

The judge obviously fort I was the most beautiful lipizzaner/unicorn in the entire universe.
She wanted to give us extra points for beauty and for hairy, but sumfink in the rules means she wasn't allowed.
Silly rules if you ask me 😁

At TDS we prioritise our horse and pony's strength and wellbeing, one thing that really helps keep our horses in tip top mental and physical condition is hacking. From our 11.2hh pony's to our 17hh schoolmasters, they all get a regular hacking session.

What does progress look like?
This is what I have seen in my lessons today.

*Trotting a whole lap of the arena without stopping.
*Persevering with a not so perfect ride, adding to the training and confidence of the horse. Sometimes you need to slow things down to make true progress.
*That first short hack round the barn.
*The first time riding a collected canter on a bigger horse.
*Finding a better balance in the saddle.
*Moving up a level.

Riding is a hard sport, its so important to celebrate each and every success no matter how small they seam. Each step is one step closer to becoming a better rider. Remember too look after your horse, you must first look after yourself.
