At long last, our custom plant cascade is FILLED to the brim!!

Hello everybody, we have an ABUNDANT selection of plants available!

Selection includes GIGANTIC VALIS (and the thinner twist), various ANUBIAS species, mid-growing HYGROPHILA, stunning ECHINODORIS (Amazon sword) species, vibrant RED Alternathera selection, NYMPHEA RED LOTUS lilies, red rooted FLOATING species and MORE!!

All of our live plants are on offer in groups of three and come either weighted or bunched. We are so happy with this delivery.

We have plenty to chose from and our friendly team will advise on care for each individual plant. Your selection will be personalised ACCORDINGLY to your individual needs.

We also have a great selection of additives including liquid Co2, plant feed AND substrates and soils for your tailored aquascape.

Corn snakes are our favourite snakes! 🐍

They are really docile, interactive and inquisitive. They enjoy enrichment out of their enclosure as well as inside

Corn snakes will adapt to many environments however their natural habitat is a range through America and are usually found in drier grasslands.

We have a brilliant selection of morphs and sizes available under new, revised prices.

We also have all the equipment, natural wood, rock, substrates and branches as well as a good quantity of mice from pinky to extra large.

It is another great, sunny day- let's hope it keeps it up- 😎☀️

Delightful weather has brought us a varied selection of Praying Mantis species. ☀️

They are very majestic and certain species such as the Ghost, Timor Shield and the green African mantis make brilliant first time invertebrates.

All mantids boast elegant beauty, pictured we have a stunning female Orchid and a teeny tiny Vietnamese Flower mantis nymph. 🌸💮

Such examples really show off the incredible versatility and range of the species.

We also stock everything you need to create a suitable habitat including ventilated acrylic and mesh 'pop-up' enclosures.

Livefood including fruit flies and locusts are in great stock...

We also have got a brand NEW nano scape range which is perfect for planted terrariums, nano aquaria and invertebrate habitats.

-Don't forget to gut load your bugs before feeding to your reptile as well as supplement with correct vitamins and calcium! We always recommend housing livefood out of their small, shelf boxes and into larger 'faunarium' style containers so this can be correctly done!

We also sell various products to do so including Bug Gel and Bug Grub!

Just had an incredible update from Rita and Andrew regarding their new pets they purchased from us at Aquator!

They made the tremendous effort to travel THREE times in one week (or so) from Bude to see us. Like all of our customers, we had the great pleasure of serving, advising and helping them both on their reignited reptile love. 💗

Rita and Andrew had previously cared after larger lizards such as green iguanas so have had lots of experience with reptiles. They also have visited our little shop before, back in October last year and bought a bearded dragon called Rocky who is also doing great and getting much love!!

Their recent additions to their family include Belle who is an Eastern collared lizard. She is loving life in her new spacious vivarium.

We can also see the two super sweet baby Horsfield tortoises tucking into a delightful dinner- The two are aptly and collectively named "The Pet Shop Boys". 🐢

This juvenile crested gecko has been awkwardly caught themselves comfortably relaxed the splits.

Naomi I actually noticed them like this all day (onwards from 9.15am) and only showed me (Syd) at the end the Saturday!

I thought this would be a funny little share though I must add we have crested geckos and perfect equipment for sale, — don’t forget we are open from 10am tomorrow!

The Carpet Chameleon is finally out in the shop ready for new adventures.

It has come on leaps, bounds and grown with confidence since it arrived and (believe it or not) has grown... A LOT.

These bright-eyed, baby Horsfield tortoises are enjoying their lunch this very sunny afternoon.

They are super cute and have a very large appetite which is a great sign of health. We have kept these two for a good period of time to ensure they're going to be ready for their new homes.

Horsfields, in general, are very hardy and headstrong tortoises that make wonderful, life long company.

Feel free to pop in to have a look, we are open until 5pm everyday and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday.

The Malawi's we have in store this week are eye-catching enough to deserve their own dedicated Facebook post.

The video attached is the best media to demonstrate their beauty.

We have had a couple of comments asking whether they are marine fish which is an understandable mistake because you wouldn't expect freshwater to have this much COLOUR burst.

The Aulonocara's in the video are probably the best we have had in store for a long while- Tangerine, Orange Blotch, Yellow and
Jacobfreibergi.

We also have some Venustus and some Electric Blue Hap (Fryeri) in this selection that are equally AMAZING.

The yellow Alunocara's are my personal favourite- though it is hard to choose and I can't stop changing my mind...!

DISCUS!! What more needs to be said? 😲

This particular selection is outstanding; each discus is very steady, strong and exhibit confidence with feeding.

Patterns include: Scorpion Snakeskins, Tigers, Pigeons, Chequerboard, Diamond and Snow.

The photos and quick video attached don't really need describing- you can see their intense, vibrant beauty.

The sizes are great too and we have great confidence that each will make fantastic additions to the appropriate aquariums...!

P.S I must admit, they're a little hard to capture in photo... so apologies for their goofy and somewhat awkward 'caught on camera' expressions-- they are elegant... really!

Look at this beautiful, little Anaconda Hognose baby! 😍🐍

We couldn't resist not getting this beauty in! Hognoses make great pets as their maintenance requirements are much more minimal compared to other colubrids.

Their unique, upturned noses are not only cute, but allow them to burrow and nestle into comfortable spaces.

They have a shining personality and make very charming little companions!! They are not fussy with food either and will take down thawed prey easily.

We are very lucky to have these Turkana Jewel Cichlids; they are relatively new species in the hobby however care is typical to any African lake-dwelling cichlid... They are considered a dwarf African cichlid that packs a punch. These particular specimens have settled very well in one of our display tanks. They can be somewhat territorial when bonded and the vibrancy in the colours show best when exhibiting natural breeding behaviours and dominance. The vibrant red against the flashes of blue is not only mesmerising but eye catching for a moderately sized home aquarium with enough decor for security and sanded subst rate for them to spawn... Keep an eye out for more fish photos and videos today... We have a lot to show you guys! We hope to see you soon and please do not hesitate to contact us for further details!
