We have become well known for providing quality live stock and our friendly, experienced team of staff are always available to provide advice. We specialise in tropical, marine and

cold water fish, and we have a large choice of reptiles and inverts, we also have a small selection of birds available. We stock a large selection of aquariums (which are available to be delivered to most areas of the UK) and vivarium's and accessories especially for your reptiles.

We've had a great mix of animals turn up this week.

In this week - a green horned frog, leopard geckos, pink toe tarantula, red knee tarantula, dead leaf mantis, timor shield mantis, Mexican whip scorpion and a gold claw scorpion.

We can give our fish the best food and we can make sure our water tests come back perfect but inevitably fish can, and will, get sick (it's unfortunately a part of keeping any animal)

This is where having a good range of water treatments and fish medications come in to play.

We would suggest always having de-chlorinator and filter starter as well as an anti parasite, antifungal and internal bacterial medicine at home, making sure you have everything covered incase the worst ever happens.

We stock a wide and varied selection of water treatments and medicines in store and our friendly, experienced staff are great at diagnosing the most common (and some of the more unusual) problems with fish.

DON'T BE CAUGHT OUT THIS WINTER !!!!!!

The nights are drawing in, and the days are getting colder, now is the perfect time to check your aquarium heaters are working properly!

To do this, simply turn your heater up by a couple of degrees to make sure the indicator light switches on and then turn your heater back to 24 degrees.

We also recommend you replace your heater if it is 5 years or older.

We stock a great range of modern powerful heaters if you need a replacement.
