I'm sure residents of Torbay have heard about the water contamination today. I've been reading up and it is something that affects your doggos and pets also. Don't forget to be safe and use boiled water or bottled water for your animals water bowls also! Stay safe everyone!

I recieved this video update from the owners of this lovely rescue dog Poppy. When I helped with training last year she was so anxious and reacted to every dog she came across. She couldn't even get close to another dog. I am so beyond proud of how far she has come! Being able to greet other dogs now and minimal reactions when on her walks. She has grown in confidence and I am so happy to have been a part of her journey. I am looking forward to seeing even more of her progress. ❤️🐾

Meet this gorgeous boy 😍 This adorable doggo is a young deaf dog with bundles of energy. He has been finding the outdoors incredibly exciting and has struggled either recall due to not being able to hear much and having some anxiety as a result. We have discovered a pitch that he can hear on the whistle and also worked on him taking note of his owner so he notices when she turns to leave having this as a signal to recall back. After a couple of sessions he has started to make some great progress and gaining some confidence as he goes! This video is his progress after a couple of weeks. So excited to see his continued progress!

Over the last few weeks I have had an increase in dogs on my training program - I have gotten quite busy with over 20 dogs! The training needs vary from anxiety, reactiveness and behaviour correction to general obedience, confidence building and some assistance dog training. My availability is becoming limited - if you are in need of some training get in touch to secure some slots!

Some great dog walks this week! Had a nice reunion with Pepper who had a break due to an injury 🥺 Good to see her being able to enjoy exercise again! ❤️

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting these two for our first training session. Buddy and Rosie have anxiety and are very reactive. They are reactive to people entering the house, dogs on TV and things going past the window. They are also reactive to people and dogs outside. Buddy has a lot of anxiety towards new people, but we bonded well within the first meeting. Can't wait to see their progress and watch them develop!

Meet this adorable bunch of pups! Here we have Oreo, Doodle, Hope and mum Bella. We have completed a few sessions on behaviour in house and getting the pups a bit more disciplined with threshold training and working on separation anxiety. We are also working on their behaviour around the cat Bills - getting the doggos to be calmer and more relaxed creating a happy environment for all individuals.

With using positive reinforcement techniques I have already seen a great improvement in their behaviours with less barking and being calmer overall and more focused and receptive to training! Can't wait to see how they develop!

Meet Albie! I've had the pleasure of training this lovely fellow a couple of times now. He gets very excited to see other dogs on a walk. He vocalises and pulls towards them. He made great improvements today and progressed a lot, was super proud of him. Very excited to be a part of his continued progress!
