All our dogs are members of our family, we love them dearly and we take them everywhere with us. We have a life time of experience of caring for dogs and consider it a privilege and a joy to breed and rear puppies in their early and crucial weeks of their lives. This is a responsibility that we take very seriously to ensure that we provide the conditions for exceptional, healthy, puppies and happy mummies and new puppy families.
We provide life- time support after you take your Puppy home and for as long as you need it. This can also involve ‘sleepover’ services, if you are away on holiday, as well as ongoing advice and support
Our Doodles are a combination of Labradoodles and Goldendoodles. Double Doodles were originally bred to be used as assistance dogs, due to their excellent temperaments, they therefore make wonderful family companions due to their loving nature, intelligence, wonderful temperaments and eagerness to please.
The mothers are our two labradoodle girls, Molly and Bonnie.
The sire of the puppies is Coulson and Colin from Curtabemdoodles www.curtabemdoodles.com
You can check out our previous puppies and Molly, Bonnie on this page ‘’kingscotedoodles’.
We provide life- time support after you take your Puppy home and for as long as you need it. This can also involve ‘sleepover’ services, if you are away on holiday, as well as ongoing advice and support .
Our dogs and puppies have the best possible care and love with no expense spared. This ensures that they go to you confident, well socialised and almost house trained.
Both our girls are health tested, with excellent hip scores and ‘non’ shedding coats. They both stand about 17/18 inches to the shoulder and weigh 14 kg. You can see them on their page next to Dexter, our border collie, to gauge their size in comparison.
Molly is an F1b labradoodle- ( second generation). Her mum is a F1 Labradoodle ( first generation lab x a miniature poodle ) and her dad was a miniature poodle- hence b. Molly has a thick wavy/curly ‘non’ shedding coat.
Bonnie is Molly's daughter and a F3 labradoodle (third generation Labradoodle ). This is Bonnies second litter. Bonnies dad is 'Bear' a f1 Labradoodle ( Labrador x miniature poodle) Bonnie has Bear's coat, which is looser than Molly's, cream and apricot, non shedding and when left to grow, goes wavy/shaggy cute.
Molly’s first litter was in August 2015 and she had 7 healthy puppies with a variety of coats ranging from smooth/ scruffy, wavy/ and shaggy. Her second litter of 9 healthy puppies produced a range of coat colours and types, born September 2017.
The Stud Dog
The sire for both Molly and Bonnies litters of puppies is Coulson, a gorgeous goldendoodle, his photo is also on the page.
Coulson, is a renowned Golden Doodle stud dog ( Golden Labrador Retriever x Poodle) that has produced many celebrity puppies and puppies that have gone on to be assistance dogs as well as adorable family pets. Coulson is just gorgeous and comes from the Curtabem line of Doodles. He is classed as being medium sized, standing at around 23 inches. Coulson is red with a dash of white, so we may be expecting- creams, apricots and reds. https://www.curtabemdoodles.com/stud-dogs
Coulson has been tested for Von Willebrands Disease, Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Familial Nephropathy, Macrothrombocytopaenia, Malignant hypothermia as appropriate for his breed. (Miniature poodle x golden Labrador retriever).
The Puppies
Puppies will be in the miniature/medium size range between 17 and 21 inches to the shoulder when fully grown, boys being on the larger side of the scale. They are mainly, likely to have non- shedding, thick wavy or lose curls/ fleece teddy bear type coats with various shades of cream, champagne red and apricot as Coulson, Bonnie and Molly all carry the apricot and red gene. Each of Molly’s litters have produced a gorgeous range of coat types including; curly, thick fleecy, scruffy hair doodle, as well as silky flat coated doodle coat, the latter of which is unlikely to be non- shedding.
Bonnies last litter of puppies were all thick coated fleecy types, with one of the puppies having a curlier coat.
The puppies are loved and reared in our family home, experiencing a busy family household with all the usual hustle and bustle, noises and experiences, including small children. They sleep indoors and have a big garden and outdoor play area when they are older. Until this time, they will undergo daily enrichment exercises to support their brain, emotional and physical development. They will be handled and played with every day and will be introduced to other family dogs and our live- in grandchildren.
They should be partially toilet trained and they will also be familiar with car rides, lawn mowers, hoovers etc. They will come vet checked, wormed and with puppy pack, insurance and first injection (if required), cuddle blanket for mum and litter mate smells, to help them settle into their new home.
Puppies will be ready for their forever homes at 8 weeks of age. This being around mid February 2020
We provide an unparalleled service of care and love for the puppies with almost daily video, photos and updates on their development from pregnancy scans and birth so that our families can be part of their baby’s journey from the onset.
We will expect the same high level of care for our puppies from their forever homes. Please ensure that you have done your research before applying for one of our puppies and you understand that this is a life long commitment and that you will be able to give your puppy the love, exercise, nutrition, health care and security that he/she will need so they are able to thrive.
Please do not apply if you are unable to make this commitment.
Please also do not apply if you have a baby or toddler at home. Whilst doodles are excellent with children, we want to ensure that our puppy gets all the attention that he /she needs and is the most important little person in your household.
New owners will be welcome to visit us and meet our girls at any time. You are also welcome to visit the puppies at 4/5 weeks old, and again at 6 weeks. They will be ready to leave for their new homes at 8 weeks of age.
Puppies will be matched to their new owner based on the puppy’s temperament and the criteria requested in your application form and, of course, in discussion with new owners.
The total cost for our next litter of puppies due in late Autumn 2019 will be £1,250-£1,400
