🐾 For 6 months from Monday 17 March RHS Rosemoor will trial dedicated dog-friendly days every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Provided short leads are used, up to 2 well behaved dogs per adult will be welcome to explore most of the gardens on a strictly ‘paws on paths’ basis.

The children's play areas, edible gardens, catering facilities, Education Centre and all lawns will remain dog-free. Dog walkers will be able to purchase drinks and snacks from the outdoor Shepherd’s Rest during the trial.

This pilot is in response to an increase in requests for more dog friendly access to RHS Rosemoor and an evaluation of dog ownership in the area and of holiday visitors to the Southwest.

📢 Important Update 📢

After much thought, we’ve made the decision to pause taking on any new dogs for boarding.

If your dog has stayed with us before, don’t worry — this won’t affect you! We are so grateful to have so many wonderful dogs who regularly stay with us, and we’ve decided to prioritise our availability for them.

✅ If your dog is already booked in or has boarded with us previously, nothing changes for you.

For now, we won’t be accepting new bookings for dogs who haven’t stayed with us before. If we find we have more availability in the future, we may reopen our books to new dogs.

If we’re unable to help, we’re happy to recommend other local, licensed home boarders and pet sitters.
