It's been a year since my tiny dinosaur arrived 🦕

An early Christmas present (to myself) bought on a whim after seeing two 3 second video clips, and he's been an absolute dream❤️

Another little outing to see Helen Griffiths Dressage Instructor today and he was foot perfect, so now he's off for a holiday in the hope that his body grows into his legs(because 18.2 isn't big enough)

Another little trip out for baby Neville yesterday 🤩

Such a good boy, so much to look at, but he knuckled down and settled almost straight away.

So impressed with his attitude so far, very excited for his future ❤️

Neville's first outing ❤️

Couldn't have asked for much more really. He took a little while to settle, and he was sad that his friend in the mirror wouldn't stop to talk🤷‍♀️ but what a little (giant) star 🌟🌟

A mixture of late morning and evening slots.

An unusually quiet Progressive Polework clinic this weekend but we hate cancelling so we went ahead anyway! As usual, Annie Brooker Dressage came with some great layouts to work on maintaining balance and rhythm through turns, changes of direction and bends.

The next date is the 21st September, pop us a message if you would like a space 😊

Jegro's Petplan- He was on good form, just some frustrating (and very expensive) errors, mainly from me🙄 as usual, the good bits were very good, the not so good bits, were questionable!

I just have to keep giving myself a kick that he's quite the miracle and nobody ever thought he'd get past Prelim!

Duke- Spent 10 days with me while his owner was on holiday, learning how to be a bit less racehorse, and a bit more dressage horse!

Freddie- so much progress this week, SO pleased with little horse now he's finding his feet. He's just started learning how to canter, without running or panicking!

Neville- my precious baby horse, big week for him, with his first solo hack, and his first ridden canter!

It's been a successful week! 😎🌟

So proud of this little horse🧡

I've spent nearly 2 years doubting my abilities because of the battles with him, even after medicating and rehab, it felt like he was never coming right, because he'd put up such a wall mentally, his coping mechanism only had the no button🙁

But today, for the first time, maybe ever, I could ride him without having to sit quiet and wait for him to throw the towel in. FINALLY!

Being able to turn left on this horse has been a distant dream for a long time 😅 but today he did his first serpentines! Simple, I know, but a mountain of progress for this one!

How long it'll last, I don't know, but baby steps

68% for the win in his first class🥇

Then we cruised round the first half of the second test, so much so, I forgot I needed to actually ride, so I very much let him down, but still a fair score and a 3rd 🌟

So impressed with Neville's attitude so far, 3rd ever hack, after a week off, and we ended up way in front, and even practiced our handy pony skills when we got home to open the gate🫶

Big day for Neville😱 we made it out for his first big boy ride, and what a star he was 🫶so proud of him!
