The donkeys & horses have had their annual dentist check up today! 🦷🦷🦷

They were all good as gold!

Prioritising regular dental treatments is a necessity for our equine companion’s lifelong welfare.

Here are the reasons why:
⭐️ Prevents discomfort: By addressing issues early, we spare horses unnecessary pain.
⭐️ Early disease detection: Catching problems in their infancy prevents escalation.
⭐️ Maximum eating efficiency: Proper dental care allows the horse to chew its food efficiently for digestion.
⭐️ Optimised performance: Comfortable mouths lead to better communication and performance.
⭐️ Long-term dental health: Investing in regular maintenance now helps prevent dental disease in the later years.
⭐️ Horses and donkeys are very hardy animals and don't tend to show pain easily. Having their teeth checked ensures we pick up any issues they may be hiding from us!

Whist Todays visit was completely necessary this cost the sanctuary a total of £370.
Without your support, the animals couldn't receive this vital care.
Any donations towards this treatment are greatly appreciated

Hey everybody!

We are pleased to announce that we will be holding our Annual Open Day and Dog Show on Sunday 11th August 2024 down at Reynards Bank! Our Garden Party is one of our most successful events and we hope this one will be just as good as previous. We rely on these events to help keep the charity going and even with the cost of living, your support is very much appreciated!

We hope to see lots of familiar faces and supporters on the day and lots of dogs being entered into one of the 11 categories in the show. We will be taking entries from 12pm on the day and the dog show will start at 1pm🐕 🐶

We are also having our Big Summer Raffle with the 1st prize being £200 CASH plus lots more other prizes to win🤩 **(post to follow regarding how to buy tickets soon)**

We hope the weather will be in our favour and hope you come to join us for a BBQ and treat yourself to a Jersey Girls ice cream!🍦

We are hosting an animal charity fair for many local animal charities to come together to raise funds and awareness for their causes. If you love animals, then join us for a fun day out where you can win amazing prizes while helping animals. Meet passionate volunteers from amazing animal charities, see how you can get involved with them, or learn which animals need sponsors or adopters.
