Can you help? We are issuing a New Forest-wide appeal for any witnesses, or anyone with information, to come forward after a number of dogs were stolen from a farm in Bramshaw.

It comes after employees at Parsonage Farm, who had returned from lambing earlier this morning (1 March), reported that twelve Border Collies puppies and a breeding dog had been stolen.

It is alleged that seven people were seen walking around the yard at around 1.40am, having broken into numerous farm buildings in an attempt to locate farm machinery.

Subsequently, the dog and puppies were stolen before they fled the scene.

We appreciate that these events will have a significant impact on the local rural community and we are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or perhaps caught any people or vehicles in the vicinity on CCTV to come forward.

It is likely that these puppies will be sold via online websites and platforms, so we are asking residents to be aware in case they see a litter of Border Collie puppies being advertised locally at a cut-down price.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact 101, quoting crime reference number 44220083039.

The blunt truth about heatstroke...

You dog is literally cooking from the inside out. I’ve seen them arrive at the clinic, vomit blood/gut lining and pass this out of their bottoms too. They usually die shortly after this.

It’s over 60c on the pavements today, as shown by the picture

Don’t be stupid, don’t risk their life, don’t walk them.

Love your dog and stay at home please.

As a vet I can’t deal with the heartache of unnecessary life lost. It is YOUR duty to take care of these wonderful animals

Hello, this has been a very strange three weeks and having to close for the time being has been so very hard. I hope you are all keeping safe and well and staying at home. I am missing all my regular walkers Buddy, Ronnie, Holly, Danny, Coco, Dave, Molly, Maisie, Daisy 1 and Daisy 2, and having all your lovely dogs to stay with me for their holidays. I miss them all terribly 😢 sending them all big hugs. 🐶🐶 Hopefully we will all get back to normal in the not too distant future and I look forward to seeing you all on the other side. Thank you for all your continued support.

An old black collie-lab cross, with grey muzzle ran off in Denny Wood around 3pm on Saturday 4th, so please share this with friends in the Lyndhurst/ Brockenhurst/Beaulieu Road station area. He is deaf and new to the area.

New Forest K9 Hydrotherapy

Ted really looks forward to his swim each week. He has osteoarthritis and hydrotherapy has made a significant difference to his mobility and well-being . His owner says he's up to all his naughty little tricks again 😀.
