Zen Dog Care and Training is owned and run by me, Robyn, and I have a long-standing passion for dogs and creating harmony between people and their pets.
I have an honours degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare from the University of the West of England and I am trained in dog first aid, fully licenced and insured. I’m based in Eling, where we are located on the edge of a nature reserve, 5 minutes from the beach and right on the outskirts of the beautiful New Forest.
Zen Dog Care and Training strives to make your life more peaceful by providing loving care for your dog when you need it, giving you the confidence your dog will be well looked after.
Our Doggy Day Care service runs from 8am to 6pm all week and we are always flexible to the hours you need.
We can also offer tailored Dog Walking, which can be customised around what you and your dog would like, as well as one on one walking for dogs needing that extra attention.
For when you are away our Dog Boarding is an overnight/24 hour service. We offer this 7 days a week and your dog will be cared for in our own home, as one of our own.
We can also provide Pet Pop-Ins, where we will visit your dog or pets in their own environment and provide company, play, fresh water and food if required. This can be arranged at a time that suits you and your dog and we can cater for most other pets including cats, chickens, small furries and reptiles.
Our Pet Taxi services provides essential transport for people who would otherwise find it tricky getting to and from appointments with the vets and groomers. We can collect you and your dog and provide transport to wherever you need to go and back. With our dog-safe van we can take dogs of any size so their are no restrictions.
ZEN Dog Training - Positive, relaxing, professional environment for all ages, breeds and abilities
We offer weekly training classes on a Wednesday evening running from Sway village hall between 6pm and 9pm. We have classes suitable for puppies, beginners and advanced and welcome dogs of all ages and backgrounds. We are looking to expand our training classes around the new forest in the near future so keep an eye out for news on this.
We can also offer 1 to 1 training for those that would prefer private lessons or need a little extra help.
At Zen, we only ever use positive and reward based methods to train and firmly believe that a kind hand and loving dog care in a peaceful environment is the best way forward to create a harmonious relationship between dogs and their people.
