Paddy was in last week for a laser therapy session.

Laser Therapy can be good for a multitude of things:
🩵Aids & speeds up wound healing naturally
🩵Can be supportive as part of treatment plan for Cruciate Injuries.
🩵Can also be used for A**l Gland irritation.
🩵Helps with the pain associated with arthritis
🩵Reduces Inflammation

Feel free to ask if you have any questions about laser or if you think this would be beneficial for your pet!

Please be kind to ALL veterinary staff. We as a profession across the country face abuse every day. ♥

We are very concerned to note that, since the publication of the CMA report into the vet sector earlier today, there has been a worrying spike in abusive behaviour and harassment by some animal owners towards vets, vet nurses and practice colleagues.

Did you know, it is beneficial to give Vetpro Intestinal Health & Recovery to your pet, especially after surgery.

❤️‍🩹Sometimes pets can have an upset stomach after a general anaesthetic.

🦠Vetpro Intestinal Health & Recovery supports long term gut health, aids recovery and maintains healthy gut function. It also quickly increases the number of friendly bacteria and supports the microflora.

🍽It also boosts appetite too and after surgery, the appetite can be affected for the pet.

You can order yours now to collect in practice or online via our practice shop.

Do you know the difference between Probiotics & Prebiotics?

🦠Probiotics are live bacteria that are good for your gut, while prebiotics are the food that helps those good bacteria thrive. So, probiotics are like the superheroes, and prebiotics are the fuel that keeps them going! 🐾 Both are important for a healthy digestive system. 🩺

💩Purina’s Fortiflora is both! And this is why we often recommend it when your pet has an upset tummy.

🐶🐱This can be used in Dogs & Cats. It’s just 1 little sachet in their food, once a day.

❤️It’s a double dose of goodness for their gut health.

We've had some photogenic pets in recently. Everyone meet 'Little' Honey, who as you can see won't be little for long!🍯

Honey is a St Bernard, this is not a breed that we see that often in our practice. 🐾

Isn't she beautiful?!😍

🐶🐱🐰Post op surgery care at home is super important and here's why in the video below 🐶🐱🐰

10/03/2024

We have had a lot of clients turning up late for their appointments recently, We always do what we can to try and make sure you are still seen but a lot of the time the vet has appointments straight after and this means we often can't see you on the day you have missed an appointment and we need to reschedule until other day.

🙃We have also had a lot of people not turning up for appointments and not informing us. If you are unable to make your appointment, please call us or email us as soon as you know you wont make it as we have other clients & pets who would take the appointments and could then be seen sooner.

📞We would like to ask if you are running late, to call ahead and we can let you know whether your likely to still be seen or not on the appointment date.

We understand life is busy and circumstances change, and we are happy to help reschedule you to another time more suitable.

We also kindly ask to be kind and respectful towards all members of our team, as we always do try our best to accomodate you.💙

Thanks, Team Animals 1st Vets
