Ballymac Sargie leads home a kennel 1-2 with Clona Dash beaten a neck, both qualify for next weeks final along with Uncle Frankie!

11 runners for the kennels today at Sheffield.

Now and Then, Glengar Peppa and Havana Special take their chances in the 500 Maiden. Now and Then has been running very well without winning Nd if taking to the track should go well. Havana Special shows plenty of early pace but stamina will be a big factor for him. Glengar Peppa ran well at Nottingham recently but needs to come forward.

Untold Shah ran well at Newcastle last week and a repeat of that sort of run would give her every chance here from a nice draw.

Loose Cannon and Uncle Frankie oppose each other in then standard event. Loose Cannon has taken a shine to Sheffield recently and should be thereabouts. Uncle Frankie is a fast dog when getting loose and should improve for recent runs.

Fruity Topman and Madabout Peck take each other on in a decent sprint event. Both are more than capable of a big run here if timing the break.

Glengar Bridie, Ballymac Sargie and Collins Dash finish the day in another Standard event. Glengar Bridie and Clona Dash will look to be away and gone. Ballymac Sargie if turning handy will run a big race.

3 runners for the kennels tonight at Monmore in the heats of the Winter Derby.

Kennel superstar Links Maverick will need his usual explosive start to steal the rail early and assert. A finalist in this competition last year he will look to go better this year.

Unanimous Leon arrives into the competition in great order. A repeat of his recent trials would give him a big chance here.

Untold Ruble is a class act on her day but has a horrible draw here, she will need to explode from the boxes to cheat the draw.

Deliverooo continues his love affair with Newcastle, pacing up nicely, he battled hard down the back to take the running up and extend clear to win by 1 3/4 lengths in the fastest of the night 28.53!

Innfield Pepe also qualified out of his heat!

5 runners for the kennels tonight at Newcastle where the Northern Puppy Derby gets underway!

Innfield Pepe was mighty impressive in a trial stake last week when coming from off the pace to win. Hes improving all the time and if trapping smartly can get involved here.

Recenight Ivan showed plenty of promise on debut but has failed to build on that in his last 2 runs. He needs to dominate on the inside early.

Toddys Raven and Brynoffa Snipe oppose each other in the next event. Toddys Raven is a bit of an unknown quantity but has plenty of early pace when her feet touch the sand. Brynoffa Snipe is still settling in but certainly has ability.

Deliverooo finishes the night for the kennels. He’s 3 from 3 at Newcastle and will look to carry on his run of form here.

Loose Cannon shows them a clean pair of heels, never looking like being caught he scores by 6 1/4 lengths in a fastest of the year 27.62!

Fruity Topman has enough pace to go with these but is a little inconsistent at the boxes, if he comes away he should play a part.

Loose Cannon has ran with credit the last few weeks at Sheffield but again is a little inconsist at the boxes, if he turns handy he shoudnt be far away.

Troy Robbo has made things difficult of late and if he meant come forward will find this hard.

Glangar Bridie and Uncle Frankie oppose each other in the standard event. Glengar Bridie has a nice draw to work from but is sure to need the run. Uncle Frankie trialled very well on Monday and a repeat of that would see him hard to catch.

Clona Dash broke his maiden in good style last week and will look to follow up on that effort, he needs to lead the bend.

Brinkleys Betty broke her maiden well last week and will look to build on that effort tonight. She needs to show her early pace from lid rise.

Innfield Pepe switched to a wider draw than ideal, he can’t afford to miss the kick early here but is improving all the time.

Untold Shah has a great draw on the fence but is still returning to full fitness so will find this difficult.

Ballymac Sargie ran a great race in defeat last week and should come forward for that outing.

Fearsome Enigma makes his return to the track after a long spell off with injury. He’s trialled well but is sure to need the run.

Now and Then takes her chance in maiden company. She’s been knocking on the door and if turning handy could go close here.

Clodcar Rosie should strip a lot fitter for last weeks run and if coming away running could get close here.

Racenight Ivan and Glengar Peppa take their chance in the Group 3 final. Racenight Ivan was very impressive when winning on debut last week and if coming away well should be a handful. Glengar Peppa ran a game race behind him but needs to come forward again.

Untold Ruble was seriously impressive when wining her heat last week. She has a horror draw to work with here and needs to flash the boxes.

Silverhill Ben ran well to qualify last week and is sure to come forward for the run, he will be staying on as hard as any.

Untold Euro battled well to win last week after missing the traps. He can’t afford to do that here.
