When we started equipment was limited and mainly from Skijor, while you could use it for running it wasn't designed for running. So we set out to design a belt for running specifically and running with a powerfull dog. After 2 years

we settled on the design and have improved over time. We also started making lines, mainly for friends and then for runners doing parkrun where a shorter line than what was around was required. We supply to specialist retailers in the UK as Parkrun was unique to UK. These have been very popular over the years and proved not just useful for parkrun but also as a good line to use when walking, especially in open hill country where sheep are ever present. Mountain walking is so much easier when you attach the dog to your belt leaving hands free. Most Sales through word of mouth and select retailers, msg us for keen prices.

The Wilma Line. I liked the P/R line but found i needed more bungee for Wilma, so couple of years ago i made up the "Wilma" line. It has the handle by the clip and loop up by human end, difference is i use 78cm of bungee rather than P/R 58 and std 67. Means i still get control but smoother ride. Fair few have tried and like it so thought i would put it out there that i do make a "Wilma Line".

Well, Bono Lines has been going for 10 years now. I think it'll go on for a year or two yet. I now get the web made for me here in the UK, my clips are made in the UK, even thread is a UK company. So I think i can safely say made in the UK given even the component parts are made here. The lines and design has stood the test of time and had many a happy customer, custom lines have been produced for lots of different applications, even to help wheelchair users walk their dogs. The belt took a few years to get to where i wanted it, the current design prototype was initially made at 06.00 after having one of those night time ideas, and run with later that morning. Been tweeked but happily run with it for several years now. To the future.
