Watching these guys out on my blistery walk with Elvis this morning and it reminded me of a podcast I'd been listening too recently where it was discussing how as humans we like comfort, we seek it. We like to be warm and cosy, we like to have full tummies. We are "happy" when we are comfortable but actually as humans we thrive when we challenge ourselves. It's why cold water therapy has so many benefits for example. Our physical and mental health improves when we challenge ourselves. And according to the podcast we age quicker when we are "comfortable" and always remain in our comfort zone.
What do you, or can you do, to take yourself out of your comfort zone? Release those endorphins and slow aging.
