Our two lovely Praying Mantids were feeling very photogenic!

First we have a CB Timor Shield Mantis (Rhombodera kirbyi) which has moulted overnight! He/she is now about 2 inches long and is an absolute cutie. 🥰

In the second photo is our CB Budwing Mantis (Parasphendale affinis) which are known for their aggressive nature when it comes to feeding, actively chasing down prey. They are more likely to display their dramatic threat posture than other species, making them a super cool pet to have in your collection!

Do you like a gamble? This CB Brazilian Pink Bloom Tarantula (Pamphobeteus platyomma) exhibits sexual dimorphism (when two sexes have visible differences between them) when they reach adulthood.

Female pink bloom tarantulas can live for over 20 years, and are an orangey brown colour when mature. On the other hand, male pink blooms typically live up to five years at the most. However, males display striking iridescent pink markings on the carapace and legs and are stunning to look at. This species temperament is considered to be skittish and on the nervous side, and or not recommended for beginner tarantula owners.
