Starting with only a handful of point to point horses, with great training success Michael Blake (and wife Sharon) then naturally progressed on to take out a full training licence and train under rules, and has had many a success ever since. Training both flat and jump horses, Michael can boast owning his own yard with facilities including 25

open airy boxes in an American Barn, full sized out door school and smaller indoor school, two stall horse box, covered horse walker, heated wash down area, acres of private hacking and lush grazing, a five furlong all weather gallop and schooling field with easyfix hurdles and fences. Stabled in a quiet relaxed atmophere the horses are part of the 'family' and are loved and cared for to the highest standard by experienced and dedicated staff and being a smaller yard the horses have all the one to one care and attention they need. The team at Staverton farm always welcome existing and potential new owners and those considering having a horse in training. Race Day for Hello Zabeel 🏇

Hello Zabeel runs today at Southwell Racecourse in the 18:45 race, with Warren Fentiman taking the ride for the Staverton Owners Group 💙

He has winning form over course and distance and two solid recent performances where he wasn’t beaten far. The cheekpieces are removed, and we’re excited to see how he runs today!

🤞 Fingers crossed for a great performance!
