Attention pet owners! 🐾

As the weather gets warmer, it's important to be aware of the dangers of ticks in pets. These pesky parasites can cause serious health problems for our furry friends, including Lyme disease.

If you notice a tick on your pet, don't panic! Here's how to safely remove it:

1️⃣ Use a tick tool to grasp the tick as close to the skin's surface as possible.
2️⃣ Pull upward with steady, even pressure. Don't twist or jerk the tick; this can cause the mouth-parts to break off and remain in the skin.
3️⃣ After removing the tick, thoroughly clean the bite area and your hands.

Remember to always check your pets for ticks after spending time outdoors.

Once clear of ticks use preventative measure to help protect against future flea and tick problems - we recommend Beaphar FIPROtec!
