Rachel is doing very well after her spay operation to remove an ovarian cyst

She now loves her syringe feeds that helps to maintain her weight. Even though she sometimes likes to nibble a finger or 2 as well 😂.
Rachel also had a blood test done and we are currently waiting on the results.🤞

Newlyweds Bart and Binney had a night of destruction before going off to their home today. The pair managed to jump out of the bonding pen and founds lots of bags to open overnight, however we will miss the gorgeous pair. Binney also enjoyed looking around the fridge this morning. 😆🥰

Yesterday a new degu arrived called Toast. He had been left on a doorstep and had been living in a hamster cage. We have no history for him but guessing he is an older male. Health issues he has are, very itchy ears, white dots in the eyes, that can indicate a vitamin D deficiency and teeth issues. It also looks like he hasn’t had a sand bath. His coat is quite dirty.
Now we have him, Toast can enjoy his four storey palace.

The gold medal for fastest guinea pig ..... Goes to Junior. It's so funny that Cedric isn't bothered in the slightest 🤪

This little fellow is Nibbles, who is busily sorting out his hay. There was a pair of gerbils but Nibbles bullied his friend so we had to separate them. 😊♥️

David (long haired) has been at the animal shelter since September 2024. He came in as part of the large group of animals that came from a hoarding situation. He was castrated and then has been awaiting a girlfriend. Because of his shy nature, he was often overlooked when it came to adoptions. Ginger came to us last week, and we thought that they would make an excellent pair. Yesterday, they were able to be put together, and they are getting on very well

Gloria is so good at taking her daily meds. 😍

It's snowing at the animal shelter today. Everyone has been given extra hay to make sure they keep nice and warm

Cedric had a bum bath (with manuka honey shampoo) and a little trim. His partner Junior couldn't believe how different he smelt 😂

Our hens and rooster Rocky absolutely love fresh watermelon as a treat! Today, they also had some finely chopped salad, sweetcorn and some bread

More bonding going on today, fingers crossed for Beatrice and Milton #guineapig #animalshelter

Our gorgeous sheep Bella, Bernard and Hetty, running towards the new year, looking forward to lots of love and food
