A before and after. It’s surprising how much dirt and detritus builds up both inside and out of the action.
Excessive build up of unburnt or burnt powder, carbon, old oil and general muck can soon exceed tolerances and cause excessive wear, as well as malfunctions.

No parts available for a Churchill side by side 20! So one needed to be made up from bar stock!

Bore snakes 🐍 nearly as venomous as the real deal.
As far as i am concerned they have no place in the cleaning and maintenance department!!

The above picture speaks a thousand words. Most i cant repeat on here. Far too often they enter the workshop firmly wedged in a barrel.

Luckily we have yet to be beaten! Came close mind, first and hopefully the last time we have had to remove a 🐍 from a .17hmr barrel! Besides an inch each end where it had been compacted in 🤦🏻‍♂️ this snake was stuck nearly full length of the barrel!

Thats all folks! Cracking year once again. Thank you all very much friends and customers new and old for their continued support this year. It really is appreciated. Certainly a lot of change in the industry and in the field, to the extent we cant even show what we work on without AI flagging the content and limiting our ability to use the platforms.
I expect the turkey coma will take a week or two to wear off! Aiming to be back in the workshop ready for the new year and its challenges on the 13th of January!
