Our wonderful friends at are taking donations to keep their lovely fish tank that we've had the pleasure of maintaining since they opened.

If you've taken classes at The Space, or used the gym you will have noticed their marine tank in the lobby full of beautiful fish. With most businesses struggling with the cost of living, the tank is at risk of being no more!

Please, if you can, donate a few pounds to contribute to the upkeep of this fish tank by either by sending it direct to Cornwall Aquarium Services or to The Space.

✨️ New project ✨️

We recently worked on this project, creating this tank set up so you can see it from all sides of the glass.

In this video, the cabinet and hood are still in progress with a friendly local carpenter!

We have installed filtration, including heating through the bottom of the tank. When it is finished, you will not be able to see any wires, and the pipework will be hidden with plants growing on these beautiful aquascaping rocks and roots.

Temperature control within an aquarium is an important parameter in helping to reduce stress on fish and corals where high temperatures or excessive temperature variations can result in coral bleaching or death. D-D have been supplying chillers for several years that provide high efficiency, proven reliability and economy with respect to both running and initial purchase costs. The new DC300 refrigerated chiller is compact enough to fit in most cabinets but has a cooling capacity of 300W making it ideal for aquariums of 150 lts at a 10°C temperature drop to 300 lts with a 5°C temperature drop.
