Feeling heartbroken 💔 this morning how much more does our family have to go through 😔

Harrison has had to go to work in someone else’s van and use someone else’s tools today this is unfair on all levels 😔

His iconic little van that he searched to find (both his dad and grandad had one) and tools that were donated, some by those who are no longer with us (especially those of his grandads who he’s just lost) are irreplaceable and the most upsetting to him to have lost.

The thieves that took his van and it’s contents wouldn’t understand that, or understand how hard he’s worked to buy and build up the tools he had. They are despicable immoral individuals who prey on hard working people, taking away their lives and livelihoods.

Please everyone do what you can to help us find his precious belongings and heal his troubles.My previous post has all the info needed and can be shared.

Kent Police have been informed.

Our family is heartbroken 💔 today we lost our beautiful white bear, our gentle giant, Foos. Rest peacefully beautiful boy, no longer in pain, now with your Mumma. Will miss you forever darling 🐶🤍

When I woke this morning I was reflecting on what we all did last night TOGETHER a ‘special community’ 🤍 There was also the realisation that however upbeat we all seemed, there was the same loss and huge hole in everyone’s hearts 😢💔

Our amazing little hospice has cared for and touched the lives of so many, both young and and young at heart 🙏 A huge well done to all who took part to raise money for them and a thank you, not big enough, to Hospice in the Weald for getting us ALL through our individual circumstances, caring for our loved ones and helping us all cope with what life was throwing at us, our ‘Green Angels’ 😇 🤍🙏

Last night we walked in the moonlight for Lorraine 🤍 but I also want to thank you for the unfailing care you provided for Uncle Ray, Uncle Ken and our friend Dave Stone 🤍🤍🤍

A mom will text her twenty-year-old child,

She calls to see how the first day of school separation went for her grandkids and if her daughter made it to the car before tears streamed down her face.⁣

She watches her daughter's baby,
so she can shower and take care of her postpartum body.⁣

She texts her forty-year-old son,
making sure he’s home safe from a wedding because knowing that is still the only way she can sleep well.⁣

She buys her thirty-four-year-old daughter Wetzel’s Pretzels when she goes to the mall,
because she knows how much her daughter loves them.⁣

And no,
she no longer needs to do these things,⁣ but she does them anyway.⁣
⁣
Because a mother always wants to make life easier for her kids when she can⁣,
even when they’re capable,
responsible humans and can do all the things for themselves.⁣

Because mothering doesn’t stop when her kids turn eighteen,
move far away,

Today our family lost the Beautiful Maggie. We are completely heartbroken. So sudden and way too soon. You’ve been an amazing mum to Fergus and your other babies. The greatest love and comfort to your family. We will all miss you terribly. Sleep well darling girl 💖🐶💔🥲

GROOMING IS ESSENTIAL FOR THE HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF YOUR DOG

Both regular home grooming and regular professional grooming is essential to keep your dogs coat healthy and matt free.

I have just watched this video by the lovely Amy Leigh of ‘Go Groomer’ on YouTube on how it is possible for a Large Golden Doodle to be fully groomed in 3 hours IF the coat is in good condition.

She very wonderfully explains the lengthy full grooming process on this lovely dog. He is immaculately home groomed and is super well behaved throughout as totally used to the grooming process on a regular process (hence why she was able to do in 3 hours).

I thought would be great to share this video detailing the skilled process involved that keeps your beloved babies 🐶❤️ in tip top condition.

This has happened to Baloo over the past week and he still isn’t recovered. He spent everyday last week in the vets and 2 of those days he was on a drip one of my friends has just shared this so please all dog parents beware!

Any dog owners - there’s a bad virus going round at the moment, reading about it non stop. Vets are putting out advice as it’s spreading really fast and they’re seeing an advanced amount of admissions.

Try stay away from parks, don’t let your dog drink outside water, puddles etc and not to sniff 💩. And clean your dogs paws after every walk in case they’ve walked in the virus then catch it when cleaning themselves 🥺

Vets are reporting higher than usual occurrenced of gastroenteritis in dogs which is fitting with a wider phenomenon as reported by The Small Animal Veterinary Surveillance Network (SAVSNET). So far we have found that the cases seen- whilst clearly being poorly- have responded well to treatment.
The British Veterinary Association (BVA) advise that with prompt veterinary treatment almost all dogs make a full recovery from this uncommonly violent gastric bug.

How Is This Vomiting Bug Different?
According to Vet Dr Danielle Greenberg of SAVSNET, this vomiting bug is unusual due to:

Prolific vomiting of 5 or more episodes in a 12 hour period which can stop for a period (such as overnight) and then starts again
Dogs are often unable to keep water down at peak vomiting stage
Anorexia and lethargy for 2-5 days
Diarrhoea: Most dogs have ‘gravy-like’ diarrhoea
Full recovery can take 5-10 days

What We Know So Far:
This outbreak is affecting areas across the Midlands, Wales, the North of England and Northern Ireland
The illness is most likely a virus but has not yet been identified.
Seems to be dog-specific, thankfully humans don’t appear to be at risk.
This is not caused by Parvo or Salmonella
