Early bird catches the worm 🐛, or in our case, early dog chases the squirrel 🐿️!
Peaceful early walks are good for my mind and soul and also to practice Luckys recall without too many distractions
Ha what is my voice like though! BUT my voice is my biggest tool with giving her leadership, so if I have to sound like a chipmunk 🐿️ then so be it!! To think a few months ago she made all her decisions for herself & now we are making them for her. Leadership is what makes her feel safe and trusting, so chipmunk voices it is 🤗 !!
We have tried a few things recently that haven’t worked out, so we just take a step back and look at other ways to move forward. Going at a pace that is right for her & realising that we’re not perfect, neither is she & when we make mistakes to learn and move on from them
My emotions have been like a roller coaster too. Some days I think why am I doing this! Then I’m like, this is the best thing ever in the world!
Shout out to all my fellow dog rescuers today, who I didn’t know would be such a big part of ours and Lucky’s journey!!! Big love to all you wonderful human beings for being totally pawsome!! 🙌🏻😘
Oh and btw, after this peaceful successful walk, we were walking back to the car and a man with two dogs on lead started barking at Lucky as we approached, so obviously I gave them a wide berth and she did bark back, but no drama, she happily wiggled her bum & tail and we carried on our merry way sniffing a 1000 things!
Today I’m going to jump on the flower bed, run around & paw FM to death 🤦♀️😫😇😂
