Nice pond clean carried out on this lovely pond! Amazing story behind the windmill with it being handmade and shipped over from Finland 🇫🇮 where the client is originally from 👍 Now it’s getting towards Autumn and leaves are starting to fall, Remember to add a net to help keep them from directly falling into the pond and causing a build up of cellulose matter which may effect the way your pump runs and block up your filter more easily! Spring clean carried out on this lovely care home pond. The water chemistry was absolutely spot on (marginal plants around the edges and major coverage from the lillies have really helped this pond over the years) but the system just needed a little TLC. The employees think the pond hasn’t been touched in over 8 years so the filter was extremely filthy and the UV was certainly in need of a clean and a replacement bulb. From this stage I will be carrying out monthly maintenances to help keep this pond in great shape!

Lovely fountain pond clean I carried out recently. The clients were new to the property and noticed the fish were left struggling in the state the pond was in and the system kept tripping the power to the garden, so they got in contact to see if I could help. New filter, pump and UV installed now the pond is running and looking great with the fishy residence seeming to enjoy their environment once again. 🐠🐟🐠🐟

Most recent pond clean! Client wanted to know the amount of stock they had as the water clarity had deteriorated so a pond clean is excatly what they needed. Along with servicing the UV and installing a new bulb plus the additional monthly maintenance, this pond will remain clear so the client can enjoy seeing there fish again and watch this natural space grow!! 🐟🐠🐟🐠🐟

New re-scape for a client. The brief was a natural setup mixed with an ornamental display. The new setup to include some real plants including Cryptocoryne, Java ferns, Anubias and Vallisneria. Changing the substrate from gravel to sand, then adding purple coloured slate with the addition of a new lightbar that will enhance plant growth and help the colour pop!! 🐟🐠 can’t wait to see this one grow!

My most recent pond clean. After being called out to quote this job as the clients fish were suffering by the lack of flow from the filters, the client losing love with the pond due to constant water loss and particles ruining the view into the pond. After draining out the pond we had found a hole in the liner which was mended with a silicone patch, meaning no more water loss 👍 after the UVs were serviced, the water clarity issue is now resolved and the client can enjoy seeing the fish again. Once the job was complete and the system had been running for some time, I had mentioned about adding some blanket weed treatment due to the weather starting to turn and blanket weed was starting to take over (hence the last picture). I’ve absolutely loved giving this pond and these fish an extra lease of life and can not wait for my next big clean!! 🐟

This is a lovely pond that I maintain on a monthly basis. Really looking forward to adding some plants in the sunnier months to promote wildlife and add a splash of colour.

This is one of the Koi ponds I maintain. As one of the services I carry out whilst maintaining a pond is blanket weed treatment (hence why the pond is milky). During Spring/Summer months, blanket weed can be more prevalent due to constant sunshine but something that can aid in blanket weed growth is nutrient rich water caused by decomposing plant debris, this is why pond cleans and keeping on top of leaves falling into the pond are vital.
