Yesterday we said goodbye to our dear Bronte, peacefully in the garden at home. Go run across that bridge and guard every pile of birds you can. I'll miss your clumber song and I'll miss your velvet nose. Your talent for being the most stubborn dog on the shoot was unrivalled. You eye wiped plenty of the best dogs about and you would always come back to me with that bird, even if it took you half hour. Lots of people will have fond memories of shooting over a clumber for the first time thanks to you and you always looked so gorgeous in your Dog and Field pictures.
We gave you as much quality retirement time as we could, I wish we could have given you forever.
