🌼🐾 March is Pet Poisons Month! Let’s Keep Our Furry Friends Safe! 🐾🌼

Spring is in the air — but so are some hidden dangers for our cats and dogs! Here are the top toxic troublemakers to watch out for this season:

🌸 Spring Plants 🌸
• 🌼 Daffodils: Beautiful but dangerous! These sunny blooms can cause vomiting, diarrhea, and heart issues if nibbled.
• 🌷 Tulips & Hyacinths: The bulbs are the worst offenders — one bite can lead to a very upset tummy.
• 🌱 Lilies (especially for cats!): Just brushing against pollen and grooming can cause deadly kidney failure in cats. Keep these far away and all parts of the plant are toxic.

The builders have been very busy - the practice is unrecognisable and we can’t wait to see it once it’s finished.

Watch this space - we will update you soon.

In the meantime thank you to our amazing clients for continued patience and understanding whilst visiting our temporary portacabins.

UPDATE: Owner is found and he is now home! 😁 Thank you everyone for your help

Do you know ‘Max’? 🐾
This handsome older neutered boy was found in the TN22 area last night and brought into Vets Now team at our Tunbridge Wells branch.

Max is microchipped, but his contact details are not up to date.

We feel he is blind so perhaps got out and couldn’t find his way home.

Please share and help us reunite Max with his owners.

Contact us on 01892520296 if you believe you know Max.

Thank you 🐈

We have decided to highlight our amazing team in 2025 and started with Duncan! Watch out for the rest of the team.

❄️🐾Keep your pup cozy on winter walks! ❄️🐾

❄️A warm coat or sweater can help protect them from the chill, especially for smaller or short-haired breeds.
❄️Don’t forget to check their paws for ice or salt after your walk!
❄️Stay warm and enjoy those winter adventures together. 🐶❤️

❄️❄️🐾Tip One Winter Walks🐾❄️

Even though the days are shorter, colder and sometimes wetter there’s no reason not to get out and about with your dog.

☃️Consider shorter walks. Two 20-30 minute walks may mean less exposure for you and your dog but enough exercise for them.
☃️If walking in unfamiliar territory or with unknown hazards consider putting your dog on a lead if they may stray onto a frozen pond or lake.
☃️If your dog has reduced walks consider reducing their food to offset the calories they aren’t burning off to avoid developing health conditions or make their existing conditions worse.

Hi everyone

We have been very busy…

Wadhurst works are well underway, we have moved an entire practice into 2 portakabins.

The builders are getting to work on renovating our Wadhurst surgery. 🥳

The cabins are fully functional! 😁

Please bear with us while we get to grips with our new working environment. Thank you to our clients for your understanding and patience.

We expect to have parking spaces at the practice from first thing tomorrow.

We will keep you posted on the progress of these works.

Good morning,

We have no parking at Wadhurst this morning while we move into the portakabin. We are working as normal!

We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience.

We hope to have the carpark for afternoon surgery.

Our Wadhurst Surgery - Friday 10th January

🧱Update our Wadhurst branch’s car park will be open until 1:45pm🧱

Our Wadhurst team is getting a late Christmas present: 2 large portakabins! These are arriving at approximately 1030 am and 2 pm and will cause a lot of disruption. Please avoid visiting the practice 1030-1130 am and 2-3 pm. We’re otherwise open as normal but please call on 01892 782382 or whatsApp us on 07893949493 if you’re worried before you come. We’ll post updates as comments under this message.

This is the next phase of our renovation of our Wadhurst surgery, by the end of which we’ll have an extra consultation room, x-ray facilities, larger dog kennels, a cat ward and cat waiting room and more space for our lab and treatment areas. Exciting times!
