Please join us in welcoming Esther to our team. Some of you may have already met Esther, one of our two lovely Veterinary Nursing Assistants

Favourite part of nursing:
Learning and doing X-rays and CT scans. It’s so interesting seeing what can be found and diagnosed. 🩺

Favourite biscuit:
It has got to be a chocolate finger 🥰🍪

Pets:
My gorgeous boy, Charlie the Maltese. 🐶

Hobbies:
Dog walks, reading and going out with friends at the weekend. 🐶📖🍸

Most likely to be found: cuddled up with my dog and a cup of tea under a blanket watching Greys Anatomy. 🫖 📺🐶

I can’t bear to be without you 💔❤️ - a talk on how to overcome separation anxiety in dogs 🐕🐶🐩🦮

Signs of separation anxiety in dogs can include:

❤️ Barking and/or whining when you go out

❤️ Chewing, biting, destroying, and/or scratching things at home

❤️ Weeing and pooing inside around the house

❤️ Clingy behaviour and getting anxious when they sense/see you are getting ready to go out

❤️ You may also see shaking, dribbling/swallowing, over-grooming amongst other behaviours

If you would like advice and support on how to tackle signs of separation anxiety (and tips on how to avoid it), then help is on hand at our upcoming talk by experienced behaviourist Beverley Saucell, owner of Fetch Pets Behaviourists.

The talk will be held in our reception area where space is limited, therefore we kindly ask that owners attend without their dogs please.

Your space on the talk can be secured by emailing us. We have 20 spaces available to book in return for a £5 donation to the Mayhew Animal Centre Charity. We can collect the suggested £5 Charity donation by cash in practice or you can donate directly to the Mayhew via this link:
