Matthew completed his Veterinary Medicine and Surgery degree at the University of Surrey. He came to us during his 3rd year of his studies and demonstrated himself to be a perceptive and intuitive future Veterinary Surgeon, so much so that we hired him immediately upon qualifying! We have all been impressed by his self-motivation, and his commitment to his studies and practical advancement is nothing less than inspiring.

Matthew has displayed unwavering commitment and dedication throughout his time here at Sore Paws and you can be confident your beloved companion pets are in the best possible hands with him.

Ross joined the Sore Paws team in 2022, bringing a vast amount of knowledge with him. Qualifying in 2009, Ross has worked as an equine vet for 13 years, and he loves to share his expertise with the team. His patience and empathy make him a very caring and dependable veterinary surgeon. Ross loves imaging, ultrasonography in particular, and is currently working towards further qualifications in this area.

Ross loves to hike and explore nature: in his spare time, he is often planning various routes in the countryside. Another of Ross’ hobbies is baking bread! Ross loves to try new recipes and seeing how they turn out.

Tomorrow is an amber weather warning. Please do not walk your dogs. If you absolutely must, do it either very early or later on when the temperature is lower. A dog will not die from missing a walk but a walk may well kill them in this weather. Stay safe!
