Little Freddy came in for his regular groom today. He such a happy boy. Gave him some little bubble ears this time and went shorter around the feet due to the mud season. 4comb on body scissored head feet and legs. Love you Freddy 😍🥰

Cute little Archie the left a very handsome boy today. So good with all aspects of the groom. Good scrub in the bath. Dry, line brush out any knots, and a tidy up of the feet and eyes, nails clipped and off he goes.

Bella and Nelly the Bichon sisters were so cute and loving, a little nervous but so adorable. Human wanted their body short and eyes cleared. So 3comb on body and scissored head, face and legs. 🐶😍

This Is Beautiful Indi and she's a Standard Poodle. I really wanted to keep the length on Indi's legs so spent a lot of time in the fluff drying process making sure every knot was brushed through so I could run a large comb attachment through them when Styling.
5FC on body, 10 and 40 on face. Top knot is always kept short, 40 on Feet. Such a gracious Floof. Jumping on the table and in the bath herself and standing like a good girl for the groom. See you soon Indi 🥰

If your dog is firework-reactive and you live in the Uckfield area there is a solution at least for planned professional displays.
At Awash with Dogs (located at Crockstead) we hold a firework sanctuary free of charge whenever there is a planned firework display in town.
With Uckfield Bonfire fireworks being this Friday night, the sanctuary will be open from 8:45 until we’ve had a phone call to say the display is over.

Hetty was so sweet and a pleasure to groom. she stood still like a champ the whole time without any lead or strap. She tried to bite the blast drier hose to start with but realised it wasnt getting her anywhere and settled right down. As long as I held her close to me for reassurance when she is being dried she was totally relaxed. Cant wait to see her again soon. she is a terrier, poodle , spaniel mix and just lovely!!! 5f body scissored feet and head

Haka, such a good good boy. His Dads do such a great job of bathing and grooming him at home, so the groom was super chilled and relaxed. So good with all aspects of the groom. Haka is a proper little star 🌟 Banded comb work to get the undercoat out, then 5fc on body. Kept Skirt, leg furnishings, and chest natural with scissor work. Scissored feet. His Dads like his ears long so just a little trim there. Love him 🥰

One of my favourite things about dog grooming is seeing the humans reactions when they walk in. Chloe the Maltese’s owner sent me this picture of her very happy daughter post doggy groom. She looks like a different pup after her little cut. Scissored head face neck and chest as she hates the clippers anywhere near her head. 4 comb attach in her body 😍✂️. Sascha the labradoodle!! What a happy, lovely doggy! Her coat is more Lab than poodle and her humans like a short body but to keep her muzzle and brows fluffy. So 2comb all over. Grooming isn’t her favourite thing but she tolerates it, and even gives some kisses by the end.

This is Rebel, the cockerpoo. the most well behaved Rebel I've ever met !! This Good boy had a full groom today. 5 comb attach on body and legs, 7 comb attach reverse on head. Owners like to keep his ears long. Lots of kisses from this affectionate little soul.

Never Judge a book by it's cover! Norman the Spaniel / jack Cross came in barking and nervous. However, once calmed down he ended up being one of the most well behaved little buddy I have groomed. Such a little cutie. 5FC on body, 2 comb reverse on head finished with scissor work. Scissored legs to keep it natural looking.
