The weather looks perfect for the Framfield and Blackboys Summer Show tomorrow! Looking forward to see all your lovely doggies! Not only do we have Rosettes for 1st to 5th but the lovely ZBM Veterinary Physiotherapy has made treat bags for those that come 1st to 5th too!
Both Scruffy to Fluffy DGP and Blackboys dog meadow have put together a Doggie hamper for the Raffle tomorrow too with lots of fantastic goodies and vouchers!

So Leah is now trained to offer ultrasonic teeth cleaning as an extra on top of your dog being groomed. We have leaflets that explain it all in more detail if you wanted to pick one up when your dog is next booked in with us.

Hey everyone, my name is Leah and this is my pampurred princess Binkie! 💗🐾

I have worked in pet stores for a while and a vets as a kennel assistant before deciding I wanted to train in dog grooming and have just recently passed my level 3! 🙌🏼 Of course due to that I have a HUGE love for dogs of all shapes and sizes and I have also got a nice calm voice so the more nervous dogs are in safe hands with me don’t you worry. 😌

I will be taking over Becks’ maternity leave over the summer and then will be staying on once she’s back again so you’ll be seeing a lot of me from now on and I can’t wait to see more of you all, as well as hopefully some new faces too and to get to know you all as well as your furry friends! 🐶

Sorry we have been quiet on our page, we have been busy grooming all your lovely dogs.

****NEWS UPDATE****
The lovely Leah has joined us at Scruffy to Fluffy, to help ease the diaries and allow us to take on more new clients. She has been a fantastic addition to Scruffy to Fluffy, and has a very gentle touch with all your dogs.

She has also joined to keep Scruffy to Fluffy going while I am on Maternity Leave for the next couple months. As I am pregnant with my second little girl 👧🏼🎀. So just need to get these two trained up so I can retire 😂🤣

I am still in the parlour for a couple more days, and of course will be contactable if needed. So do not hesitate to contact me or Leah for any of your doggy needs. Living on site I am pretty sure some of you will see me while on Maternity, as I just can’t keep away 😍🥰

Sadly this decision is out of our control following strengthened and updated guidance from DEFRA and The Pet Industry Federation.

"Groomers can now only take appointments for dogs for "welfare reasons" which includes but isn't limited too a referral from your vet due to your pet having a skin condition or the potential of excessive matting causing your pet discomfort" and that where 'maintenance' grooms can be delayed without affecting pets' welfare until the lockdown is eased, they should be delayed."

We must also be able to provide (should we be questioned) an audit trail of photographs/messages/vet letters etc to prove the groom is necessary for welfare reasons and without this evidence we could be fined for continuing to operate.

I therefore have to cancel all currently booked grooms until at least 30th January or the next update of information.

If I feel your pets groom can be justified or you feel that your pets welfare is being negatively impacted or is at risk, please contact me as soon as possible where we can then discuss if a groom is possible during the current lockdown.

Many of you already have future appointments booked in which currently still stand.
