What an amazing looking Dalmatian we had with us for board and train recently!
Unfortunately Harley has experienced some bad experiences with other off lead dogs and is not the most confident when meeting strangers.
During her stay with us, I introduced her to Skye and put in lots of confidence building activities throughout the day. Being the intelligent girl she is, she responded extremely well.
We have sent her owner off with a training plan to give Harley the help she needs going forward and we look forward to seeing her progress!

We have very limited spaces for the rest of 2024, so if you are wanting to book your dog in for a board and train, please get in touch ASAP to avoid disappointment!

We enjoyed both little and large visitors recently, with Cocker Spaniel Millie and Alaskan Malamute Albie. Both really good natured dogs who were quick to learn. We done some loose lead walking with them which was not just good for them, but good for us and our shoulder sockets! Their personalities were really fun, from Millie's loving nature to Albies wolf like howls!
Two really nice dogs that are welcome back anytime!

🐾🐶🦮 We've really enjoyed looking after another regular returning guest, Tilly. She has enjoyed her playful walks with Skye, engaging her brain with puzzle games, meeting our family Lab pack and engaging her nose with snuffle activities. We look forward to having her back with us in a couple of months!

Over the weekend we took our guest Tilly out for a walk with our family mini Lab pack. She really enjoyed the company of our friendly girls, enjoying some chasing, ball games and a dip in the river. She also used her experience and body language to teach our newest puppy some play boundaries!

🐾🐶🦮 We have enjoyed looking after this lovely Lab Woody recently. He is such a smart, playful lad who during his time with us enjoyed playing with Skye, going for long walks, playing with our toys, puzzle games and much more. We are already looking forward to having him back with us in November 😁🐾🐶

🐾 🐶 We recently enjoyed looking after a returning guest, Ted. This lovely lad is always such a fun, happy dog full of personality! Whilst with us he enjoyed dips in the river, puzzle games, playing with Skye and even a little bit of training. We look forward to having him back with us!

Could people in the carleton Road/Drive/Place area please keep an eye out for this cat. After her owner passed away, she was re-homed to Carleton Road, but after a couple of weeks, she managed to escape the house. She is an old girl at 14. She is also microchipped.

- Special Needs: Could requires ongoing treatment at our local veterinary clinic
- She is a sweet girl who loves company and her toys.

- Location: Must be local to ensure continuity of veterinary care under Eden Animal Rescue.

🐾 2 of our very favourite characters Cody and Henry have been to stay with us and we have really enjoyed looking after them! We have worked on their loose lead walking which has improved so much! We have also worked on building confidence and maintaining a calm energy.
It's great to see how Cody's confidence has built since his last visit and also throughout this visit with us (thank also to Skye for her help with that 🐾🐕). Henry has been his usual lovable happy tail-wagging self!
We love having these 2 boys with us and look forward to having them back here later in the year.

We really enjoyed having Iris back with us over the weekend. She is definitely one of the most well trained dogs we have had stay with us here at Wagging Trails. Whilst with us, she enjoyed lots of playing with Skye, meeting a new friend in Coco, tasty treats and even though she didn't fancy a swim she enjoyed watching Skye paddle around!

We look forward to welcoming Iris back with us many times throughout the rest of the year and beyond 🐶😀🐾🦮

We have very much enjoyed having Coco back with us. During her stay, she has enjoyed lots of fun walks, river swims, frozen treat bowls, playing with Skye, making a new doggy friend in Iris and much more.

She is such a well behaved girl and a pleasure to look after.

Some progress made the other day with a persistent puller. Loki the lab was causing issues pulling on the lead during walks as you can see on the first video. After using some positive techniques, we managed to make a huge difference that day, the second video showing the progress. We really enjoyed having Loki with us and he is welcome back anytime!

Happy 1 Year Anniversary to Wagging Trails 🐶🐾

Today marks our first year of business and we couldn’t have done it without all of the incredible dogs and their amazing dedicated owners. Over the past year, we've had the pleasure of home boarding so many wonderful pups, training some very clever dogs, and walking a host of lovely canines.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our fantastic customers who entrust us with their furry family members. Your commitment to their well-being is amazing. Here’s to many more years of wagging tails, happy barks, and unforgettable moments!

We recently had a new visitor stay with us, a very handsome lad called Henry. This playful Sproodle had lots of fun playing with Skye, sniffing out treats, working through our toy box and going for nice village walks. A really lovely dog who is welcome back anytime! 🐾🐶

We celebrate Skye turning 3 today! 🎉

Our incredible pet and helper dog has supported countless nervous dogs, becoming a best friend to many. Her patience and adaptability in various situations make her a dream dog. Happy birthday, Skye! 🐾🎂

Over the weekend we had these two delightful doggies returning to us for another stay. During their stay they enjoyed lots of play, Kong's and leisurely walks. We look forward to them coming back again shortly!

Cassie is ready to find her forever home, she is a very sweet girl who loves to be around people. Cassie is an active girl who would love to find owners who enjoy being outdoors. She would make great company on runs/fell walking.

Cassie needs a home with no children and is the only pet.

We recently looked after this delightful Suluki x Whippet rescue Dobby. He had a blast with us, enjoying lots of nice walks, dips in the river and some games to satisfy his prey drive. Another dog that is welcome back anytime!

It was a really enjoyable day yesterday at Ullswater Country Fair. Thanks to everyone involved and all of those who took part in the dog shows! There were some really impressive dogs! 🐶 🐾
