Yesterday, I had the pleasure of working with Colin the Collie during a Board and Train session. Colin’s owner wanted to work on a few key areas:
Loose lead walking, Confidence building, Reliable recall
Throughout the day, I focused on these specific issues, and we made great strides! Colin went from pulling constantly to walking much more calmly on the lead. I also worked on boosting his confidence and impulse control around distractions.
I sent his owner away with a detailed personalised training plan to keep up the progress at home. The right guidance and consistency make all the difference!

This weekend we had a very lively 15 month old Cockapoo stay with us for a board and train.
Boo is a very sweet girl, though she has been having issues with persistent barking at other dogs, amongst other behaviours. We worked with her throughout the day, introducing her to a couple of our family Lab pack very carefully. She coped extremely well and was very polite!
We worked on lots of other things and sent the owners away with plenty to work on.
We are excited to hear how the changes implemented will help Boo going forward to help create a more calm, relaxed dog with great manners!

Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Bea, a lively young girl who was a persistent puller on the lead during walks. Her owners were struggling to enjoy their outdoor time together.
We have put lots of work in here at our board and train service. Bea is now walking calmly by our side! No more tugging or pulling just smooth, enjoyable strolls with plenty of engagement.

Started a random 5 minute drill this morning making Skye work for her breakfast meal. She loves engaging her brain and working for her food. It's very rare that we feed Skye from the bowl. Every meal is an opportunity for training and enrichment!
