Tails and Trails As a dog lover and someone who enjoys walking in our beautiful countryside I decided to combine these two passions and set up Tails and Trials.

I am fully insured, have completed a canine first aid course and have an enhanced DBS certificate. I cover Slapton and the surrounding villages and with Tails and Trails I can offer guaranteed Monday to Friday dog walking services during school(Bucks) term time. As a mum to a primary school aged child, during the school holidays the services offered may be reduced depending on demand and availabil

ity(i.e., shorter walks, reduced number of walks available in a week or different times to the usual offered), however, every effort will be made to accommodate all requests. I will walk no more than 3 dogs at any one time and dogs must be sociable for group walks. If you would prefer one to one solo walks these can be accommodated.

The newest member of our gang. Meet Millie, she’s a gorgeous 18 month-2 year old Collie. She’s a rescue girl and her full history is unknown so for now we are getting to know each other with a couple of companion visits a day whilst her human has had to return to the office a couple of days a week. She is very friendly and is quite content with having a good fuss and tummy rub. Once she’s completed her vaccines I look forward to taking her out for some walks 🐾🐾

Today we tried something different and booked out one of the fields at Horton corner. I tried in the past to walk these two energetic pups together with little success as they wanted to play the whole time and as they were on their leads it led to a slightly stressful walk. This time round I introduced them in this field with Charlie’s owners there as well. Seb and his owner were here somewhere as well but Charlie and Bailey were just all a bit too much for him. The outcome was that the pups played constantly for almost an hour and had a fantastic time with the freedom of being off lead whilst we had the security of knowing they couldn’t get out the field. I don’t think I’ll be attempting to walk them together on my own for a while though 😂
