Well done to everyone in both training classes 👏

Please don't worry if you're dog has an off day in training, this happens. They like to push the boundaries. Deep breathing does help.

I love seeing everyone's progress!!

First class worked on their recall at distance again and completed with a finish. Everyone did really well. They also did free hand recall to heel on the move. Very impressed 👏

Second class worked on walking their dogs to heel. They also practiced their about turns (right turns) and left about turns (left turns). They also practised stays with their dogs. Very impressed 👏

Working on basic commands in training is really important. These will help you progress further in you're training.

I had the pleasure in training the beautiful Storm, who is a Siberian Husky. Storm is a beautiful soul inside and out. I could have kept her.

Her owners have understanding about the breed and this is so important.

Doing the homework about a breed is very important. Looking at their traits and their needs and also their breeding line.

My beautiful boys 🥰 When these guys first met, there is no way they would have slept on the same bed. They've come along way.

Training and consistency done by all family members meant we could have 2 happy dogs living together. It was bloody hard work, very much worth it.

Well done to everyone in both training classes today 👏

The first class should be very proud of themselves. They did recall on a long line, hands free and all the dog's came straight back to their owners, we even added on a finish to heel. There were even distractions present. The progress I see is amazing. Well done!!

The second class should also be very proud of themselves. They are new to my class. We concentrated on heelwork and pulling. It can be very frustrating when trying to learn these commands. It is such an important part to training. It's being consistent and following through always with training. Well done!!

Consistent and following through, I think should become a daily mantra.

The class did a thing today, they went and got takeaway tea, coffee and posh coffee and walked their dogs along the street whilst drinking them. How amazing is that 👏💪 Well done so impressed 🥰

Stays and recall is coming on a treat 💪 Plenty of repetitions in your training is a must.

Both classes are combined next week. It will be at the later time of 2.30. This is the last class until after the holidays.

Well done to everyone in both training classes 👏 ❤️ It was baltic today.

Learning to stop your dog pulling and having your dog walk next to you with a loose lease is hard going at times. With consistency in training the end result means it's a pleasure walking you're dog. You all did soooo good!!

Well done to everyone in both training sessions today 👍💜 It was pretty windy but we kept our feet firmly on the ground. 💪

The first class is missing a few people (next time) They are further on with their training, so we went to the Cornerstone cafe in Scalloway. They were so well behaved whilst we had a cuppa. Obviously this was part of the training and we were not skiving, honestly. Second class, this will be what we will be working towards.

Training can be hard sometimes. Being consistent, following through is sooooo important. Having fun also is important. The reward you will get will be huge when you put the hard work in.

Thank you Phil Hide and go Sniff for coming to Shetland to do training with us. It was a great training opportunity.

It was lovely to watch all the dog's working. Also it opened our eyes to see that what you think your dog will work for, won't 🫣🤪
