Huge thank you to the Humanimal Trust for inviting us Leucillin to their 10 year anniversary Symposium held at the Wellcome Trust in London yesterday, what an honour to be invited to such a momentous day and hear the inspiration and expertise of the many speakers throughout the day, whom specialise in many areas of both animal and human health.
Thank you to Professor Noel Fitzpatrick whom with out his driven passion and love would never have gotten this Goliath of a movement off the ground, with 10 years now under it’s belt and the need for collaboration of human and animal medicine gaining traction, the next 10 years should see his vision for One Medicine take shape, for the advancement of health for humans and animals equally!
Thank you to all the speakers throughout the day, one particular stood out, Dr Matthew Morgan whom delivered a captivating speech about a young man he’d met in intensive care who’s prognosis wasn’t at all good, though with the knowledge, care and medical advancements of which we have learnt from and are thankful from nature, he survived! We look forward to reading his book ONE MEDICINE which explores how understanding animals can help treat human disease.
