Struggling with thrush in your horse’s hooves? 🐴 Leucillin is a powerful antibacterial and antifungal solution, perfect for treating thrush safely and effectively.

✔️ Suitable for bare hooves, shod hooves, and for use with hoof boots.

Directions for Leucillin on Thrush

1️⃣ Clean the hoof thoroughly, removing debris.
2️⃣ Spray Leucillin directly into the affected area.
3️⃣ Allow it to soak in and air dry and no rinsing required

Repeat twice daily for thrush or as needed as a prevention after hoof picking. Keep your horse’s hooves happy, healthy, and protected!

As we pack down the decorations saying a fond farewell to Christmas 2024 we just wanted to share a few photos and thank everyone who joined in with our Christmas Quiz throughout December, it is a challenge to create but we throughly enjoy putting it together and seeing how competitive you all are!! A huge round of applause for anyone that gives our Christmas Eve maths question a go it's not easy but we hope you enjoyed!

Santa has decided he wants to be a bit more eco conscience with his enterprise, he has a 10 acre plot around his elves workshop which he’d like to plant some trees, under the Woodland Creation Planning Grant (WCPG) he can apply for £1500 at stage 1 for his proposed woodland, he can claim a further £150 per hectare to produce a woodland creation and funding is capped at £30,500 per project.

1. Santa applies for the grant and buys his Nordmann Fir Bare Root Tree Saplings (30/40cm) for £2.99 each from Hedge Nursery, he decides to plant the saplings at 20 x 20 foot spacing, how many saplings will Santa need to buy for his acreage?

2. Santa has is grant accepted and completes his new woodland, including the initial £1500, how much does Santa receive in funding for his project?

Santa is making an effort to encourage children to request more sustainable materials for their gifts, whilst wanting to reduce the use of plastic he’s also keen to avoid the new plastic tax levied by the government of which he has to pay £217.85 per tonne for packaging which contains less than 30% recycled plastic. He’s pleased to put Leucillin into the stockings of children with pets as all bottles have at least 30% recycled plastic so great for pets, the environment and great for Santas pocket. The UK imports 125,000 tons of plastic packaging over the Christmas period of which Santa is responsible for 42%, how much does Santa have to pay the British Government this year in plastic tax for gifts?

Today we are guessing unusual pets! We’ll give you a description, you tell us the pet, and yes they are all pets you can legally own in the UK.

1. They originate from South America, are rather timid and have the densest fur of any land-living mammal?
2. Their shape shifting antics will keep you mesmerised, they have tragically short lives and you can’t give them friends as they’ll likely eat them!?
3. Short legs, but a long nose, and weirdly only four toes, they have simple needs eating mostly insects and slugs?
4. The perfect pet for the low maintenance aspirational farmer, they are affectionate, love companionship, full of mischief, eat forage and are self-exercising given suitable entertainment.
5. When a guinea pig isn’t cool enough but you are super wealthy and can afford lots of expensive equipment and a pool for your pet. They weigh and are the size of a large dog and you will need a licence from your local council to keep one.
6. You are going to need and aquarium, they can regenerate limbs and live for over ten years, too much light will stress out this little pet and they are likely to bite if handled.
7. They aren’t social, they aren’t cuddly and quite frankly won’t care if your home or not. You need a well-ventilated glass or sturdy plastic tank with a secure lid to prevent your escape artists from disappearing and they are prolific at breeding!?
8. Perfect pet for children with a sense of curiosity! They don’t sting, bite or run fast, they are very hardy, docile and easy to handle, they certainly make an interesting and educational pet but make a loud hissing noise when disturbed!?

Huge thank you to the Humanimal Trust for inviting us Leucillin to their 10 year anniversary Symposium held at the Wellcome Trust in London yesterday, what an honour to be invited to such a momentous day and hear the inspiration and expertise of the many speakers throughout the day, whom specialise in many areas of both animal and human health. Thank you to Professor Noel Fitzpatrick whom with out his driven passion and love would never have gotten this Goliath of a movement off the ground, with 10 years now under it’s belt and the need for collaboration of human and animal medicine gaining traction, the next 10 years should see his vision for One Medicine take shape, for the advancement of health for humans and animals equally! Thank you to all the speakers throughout the day, one particular stood out, Dr Matthew Morgan whom delivered a captivating speech about a young man he’d met in intensive care who’s prognosis wasn’t at all good, though with the knowledge, care and medical advancements of which we have learnt from and are thankful from nature, he survived! We look forward to reading his book ONE MEDICINE which explores how understanding animals can help treat human disease. As a company forefronting the advancement of safe and effective topical antimicrobial skin health we hope to play our own small part in the future for both animals and humans 💜
