Sat 3rd - Sun 11th August (Indoors)
Sun 25th August - Sun 1st September (Outdoors)

May school holiday is fully booked for Guinea Pigs but i have a couple of spaces available for Rabbits.

I only have 1 space available for Rabbits in August now.
1st - 7th August only.

** UPDATE ** This has now found a new home **
Is there anyone out there that would like an almost new (just used as temporary housing while bonding) FREE 6ft, 2 tier rabbit hutch. It will need to be collected by the person who wants it, it is currently in East Preston.
If you're interested please email [email protected] for more information and arrange collection.
Cover is a little weather beaten but hutch is in great condition.

I'm very sad to say that Nibbles, the "poster girl" of RaGs Retreat, my beautiful female rabbit (featured in the picture for both FB & the website) passed away at the approximate age of 9 yrs last week. It appears she went to bed and didn't wake up again.
I have no doubt that the heat may have had a part to play, but she had access outside 24/7, a cooling mat and a frozen water bottle but chose to go to bed.
She had a great life with Alice, her first companion until she passed a couple of years ago (approx. 10yrs old) and totally adored Robbie her new companion even though they only had about 18 months together.
My focus now is helping Robbie get over his grief, he stopped eating for a few days but has now regained his appetite and hopefully will continue to improve.

I have availability from 10th - 24th, new booking doesn't need to be for the full available time.
August has been fully booked for a while now so this is a rare opportunity to get your piggies booked in, don't wait, book today.

Full: End of August 23rd – 31st
August is also FULLY BOOKED for RABBITS but I have a couple of spaces available for Guinea pigs early – mid August.🐾🐾

*** UPDATE *** Cheese and Crackers have a lovely new home ***
Cheese and Crackers are 2 year old bonded girls looking for a new home through no fault of their own.
They are used to being handled and love cuddles.
They currently live outdoors in a secure hutch and love being in the run.
They live with a cat and don’t seem to be bothered by its presence.
They are used to be visited by young children.
They have stayed with me a number of times and are lovely, friendly piggies.
If you would like to give Cheese and Crackers a happy, enriched, and loving home please contact me in the first instance and I will pass your details on to the current owners.

I have had a cancellation, so have 1 space available for rabbits for the Coronation Week. It is the only rabbit space i have left for that time so contact me as soon as possible to reserve it.

I have been asked if i know anyone looking to rehome a few animals that are looking for good homes through no fault of their own. They are looking for forever homes, not just for Easter, and need suitable homes with plenty of room to act naturally. First is a single male rabbit, DOB 04/02/2022, neutered and vaccinated. Harlequin lop. has lived indoors currently outdoors, lived with children but not keen on cuddles. family emigrating. Second are a pair of bonded male/female rabbits, DOB 17/11/2019, both neutered & Vaccinated, Both large rabbits 3kg, male grey lionhead with blue eye, female fluffy white lionhead. They are big rabbits who need loads of room and regular grooming, Enjoy being groomed but not keen on cuddle. Gentle bunnies. Very much loved but health issues of current owner means they don't get the attention they need.
Third are a pair of bonded female guinea pigs, DOB May 2021, currently live outdoors but are happy indoors, Have had contact with children. very sweet girls. Very much loved but family commitments mean they are not getting the attention they are used to.
Fourth is a single male guinea pig, approx: 2/3yrs old, he lost his friend, was then bonded with another piggie, but they have now fallen out, so he needs a new friend. He is very timid but very sweet and handsome. You can contact me for further details / photos etc, genuine enquires only please. They all need loving homes and will be signed over to rescues when spaces become available if they don't find homes before hand, we won't be cutting corners with rehoming them, they are all much loved members of their current families.

Since the summer i have had the pleasure of meeting loads of new visitors to RaG's Retreat and also seen familiar fluffy faces return.
If you're going away this year and need to book your fluffies in, please book early as available spaces over bank holidays and school holidays are filling up fast. I look forward to seeing who will be staying this year.

I seem to be running a guinea pig campsite at the moment 🐹 🥰Loads of lovely piggies have been to stay.
I have just had a GUINEA PIG CANCELLATION however, for Wednesday 24th August onwards.
Anyone who was hoping to go away for the BANK HOLIDAY but couldn't find any one to look after their piggies, I now have space available.

Just to let you know that RaG's Retreat is fully booked for Rabbits in August now (Unless i get any cancellations) and only have a very few Guinea pig spaces for short breaks.

She looks very well cared for and her family has to be missing her.

A busy Easter for RaGs Retreat with old faces returning and new ones trying the Retreat for the first time. It's always lovely to see fluffy friends returning, but just as exciting to meet new fluffy friends. With some beautiful weather for the bank holiday it seems everyone have a good holiday. 🐰🐇🥔
