The time has come for little Gizmo to find his furever home 😭🏡🐾

Midlands Cleft Rescue 🐾

We’re looking for an extra special home for Gizmo as he needs to be the ONLY dog. Preferably someone with french bulldog experience that understands the breeds wants and needs. Gizmo is fantastic with humans of all ages but we’re asking for children over the age of 10 please as he’s your typical Frenchie and can be quite bouncy at times 🙏🏼

Gizmo has been through so much in his little life, he really does deserve his ‘Happy ever after’ and we know the perfect family are out there waiting for him somewhere it’s just a case of finding them… that’s where you guys can help by sharing far and wide 🙏🏼

All Giz wants is a warm sofa and a human or two to cuddle. He’s a calm boy that’s happy to chill, he really would make the most perfect companion for someone 🥰 he’s recovering well from his BOAS surgery, vets are happy with his progress and he’s sounding much better already.

HUGO the Frenchie is now up for adoption!

LOVE LOVE LOVE a journey like this!

This little guy joined the gang all the way from London on 30/10/24 at just hours old due to having a cleft palate.

His palate has completely closed together now and he’s eating and drinking like any other puppy his age. REAL LIFE SUPER HERO 💪🏼

Hugo is a confident little pup, he’s smashed pad training and is even venturing outside with the big dogs to toilet now too 🙏🏼 Hugo has a lot of love to give and would do well either as an only dog or live happily within a pack. We do accept families with children unlike other rescues which I know is a question were asked a lot 🥰

Please only apply for this little guy if any females you have in the home are spayed (we will need to see proof of this) Hugo will come with a castration contact under the rescue with full RBU 🏡🐾

The rescue babies went to visit aunty Nikki today at 💎🐾🦴

Nikki kindly came in on her day off today to give Rami, Paddington & our little newbie chow chow baby a well deserved pamper 🦁

All three were absolutely amazing, so well behaved and loved every second! 🥹

🚨Everyone meet one of our newest arrivals… 🚨

We were contacted by another rescue asking for advice on this little guy as they had seen him advertised for sale with a broken leg… 😭

I offered to take him as I knew with the help of our lovely followers we would be able to raise the funds to cover the cost of the surgery needed to help him.

We did have to pay £350 for little puppy as the breeder wouldn’t surrender, but we couldn’t leave him there. He desperately needed treatment and the breeder wasn’t prepared to pay for it so was selling him instead….🤬

He’s here safe with us now, and booked in for his surgery on 12/02/25 so we have a few weeks to raise as much of the £1100 needed for his front right leg amputation. Unfortunately there’s no saving the leg, if this was an option we would absolutely be trying but sadly it’s not. The reason he’s not having the surgery straight away is that he needs to be vaccinated and chipped first so that’s being done this week in preparation for the 12th 🙏🏼

Just want to say a huge thank you to everyone that got involved in our auction, wether it was donating prizes, bidding or just donations in general we managed to raise the funds to cover Gizmo’s BOAS surgery in full! 🙏🏼

He went in yesterday and is back home recovering well thanks to the wonderful team at Rock House Vets ❤️‍🩹

Forever grateful to have such an amazing support network, our little rescue wouldn’t be able to continue without each and every one of you ✨

It’s that time again….’NAME OUR NEWBIE’

Our little male Clefty French bulldog baby needs your help… 🐶

Each new baby that comes through the door you guys will now have a chance at naming for the cost of just £2 via our PayPal.

As I’m sure you’re all aware funds are really tight currently, and this is due to the number of pups we have at the moment (6 currently). The Vet bills are never ending, So this is a perfect way to raise some funds again and help towards the running costs and care of the pups with us in rescue, if nothing else we aim to cover this pups first health check, vaccine, microchipping and worming which is a total of £85! 🙏🏼

Time really does fly… ✨

No idea where the last 10 weeks have gone?

This little guy came in at just hours old along with his sibling due to them both having cleft palates, but unfortunately his sister didn’t make it. This handsome chap has absolutely smashed it though, just look at how well he’s doing 🖤

He will be looking for his furever home in the next couple of weeks so please keep your eyes peeled for the applications to open 🏡🐾🐶

🐾 Happy New Year Everyone! 🐾

What a year it’s been… 2024 was full of so many highs but some extremely low lows! Medical Rescue is NOT for the faint hearted 💔

But as a rescue we’ve managed to successfully rescue, hand rear, rehabilitate and rehome 29 pups & dogs 🥰 I know that probably doesn’t sound a lot but for such a small rescue myself and the team feel this is a HUGE achievement 🙏🏼

None of this would have been possible without the support of so many of you guys. We really do appreciate each and every one of you. Your generosity over the last 12 months has helped save every one of those 29 little lives. From supplies sent via our Amazon wish list, fund raisers, donations and even offers of transport for urgent newborns. The support network we have grown is just incredible and we feel extremely lucky to have you all ✨

I’m excited for 2025, myself and the team have some exciting plans this year for the rescue. Hoping to really crank it up and get the ‘Charity Status’ we feel we truly deserve…🐶

Thank you everyone, let’s have another fantastic year of success stories and defying the odds 🥰

Our beautiful Shakira with her wonderful foster mummy 🖤

Can’t thank this amazing lady enough for giving little lady a chance when no one else would. Shakira has fought the hardest battle to get where she is today and deserved a home just as much as any of the babies we have here in rescue 🐾

She was born with a bilateral cleft lip, hard and soft cleft palate, a head bobble (which is virtually gone now) and visually impaired in her right eye. But nothing stops her, if anything it’s given her even more fight and determination 🐶

For anyone that’s met Shakira in person will know how much love she has. Her energy is incredible and nothing stops her or gets in her way. She really is the most wonderful little pup that has now been given the chance she so much deserved and that’s thanks to Shelley and her wonderful family 🖤🥹

The perfect ending to one of the toughest journey 🙏🏼

I can’t even deal with the cuteness 🖤🥹 Little Rex our blind Doberman puppy is thriving, he’s been away on a little holiday to Holly Brown and her gang for a bit of training and he’s come back a super confident boy 🙏🏼 Also everyone meet little Gizmo, he came to us through a dogs home we’ve worked with in the past and unfortunately didn’t have the greatest start in life. Poor boy was starved, has pneumonia and quite a bad skin issue. But all that aside he’s the sweetest, most loving gentle tiny sole 🐾 Follow both of their journeys over at Midlands Cleft Rescue ✨
