And finally we are ready to open! Bookings are open - you can book in the same way as always! Location has been updated on google maps and signposted.

The new purpose built Hemington Dog Park is set to open Tuesday NEXT WEEK!! We are excited to share new site with you all. Bookings will be in the same way as normal. Both dog parks will be shut Monday while we transition over. And some of the obstacles in the park will be disappearing at the end of this week in preparation.

Christmas is a magical time of year. Unfortunately this magic does not extend to a p**p fairy.

It has come to our attention that some of our users have not been picking up after their dogs. Please remember to leave the park in the condition you expect to find it in.

Elsa had fun helping us set up yesterday and testing everything out for you all ahead of todays reopening.

The dog park is now closed! But our sunflowers are open this weekend for a charity pick your own. 10:00 am - 4:00pm Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th. £1 per stem. All proceeds go to Hemington Church and East Anglian Children’s Hospice. The field will be signed from Hemington village.

Unfortunately it is that time of year again where we will have to close the current dog park as the turkeys will need their shed back.

The park will close the evening of Sunday 13th.

But.... Watch this space! We hope to have an announcement of a year round dog park in the coming weeks.

With the longer evenings our opening hours at Hemington Dog Park have been extended to 8pm.

Please be careful when using the dog park as there are a few holes appearing.

We will be attempting to fill these over the next few days.

If you do have a dog who loves to dig, please be mindful of other users and discourage digging in the park. I know there are lots of enticing smells for them!

Todays blue skies and sunshine is a nice change from the amazing frosts last week, but it does look a lot less festive!

The Dog Park will be open every day over Christmas so don’t forget to give your four legged friends their fun whilst you walk off your Christmas pud!

We are reopening the dog park on the 18th November.

Our booking service is not open yet as it is undergoing some improvements so watch this space. I will let you know when we go live.

Dogs on leads welcome

Please bring your own secateurs or scissors.

Wear sensible shoes as the field is very cracked with all this hot weather.

Card payments preferred

All proceeds go to Hemington Church and the Air Ambulance.

Ella here has just heard the news that the dog park will be closing on the 18th July until December as out feathered friends will be back earlier this year. We are open as usual this weekend.

As the clocks have changed the park is now open until 7:30pm.

The park is open daylight hours so longer day's mean more opportunities for fun at the park.

It's been good weather and great to see so many pooches using the dog park recently.

Just a gentle reminder to our visitors to try to leave the park as you would hope to find it and pick up your 💩.

Bags and bin provided near the hut as we all forget the bags sometimes ☺️.

The sun has been out the last couple of days ☀️. Unfortunately there has been a lot of rain over the Christmas period and the dog park is a bit wet in places!

As with country walks in winter appropriate footwear is everything.
