Although Halloween is not until the 31st of October, the kindest thing to do is to start preparing your dog for this event now.

Thinking ahead, really considering all the stimulus of the event from your own dog's point of view and putting safety measures in place can make it less scary.

Watch your dog on the day and be guided by them - dogs are great communicators.

Sadly it’s Mr Shelby’s last night with us. It has been an absolute pleasure to take care of this beautiful boy. He is well mannered, playful, kind, loving and a general joy to have around. Cookie & Molly will miss their new friend and the small hooman will be just a bit lost without her massive playmate.

Hi everyone. I’ve been thinking recently about the numbers of dogs being handed in to shelters due to their owners’ financial status. As we are all seeing in the daily news, local food banks are under increasing demand. Which has led me on to think about setting up a food bank for cats and dogs. If anyone has any spare cat or dog food that they could donate I would be more than happy to take it along to local food banks. In time it would be great to be able to set up a drop in ‘something’ to help those that need help with their pets. Not sure if it’s a realistic goal but I’m sure every little helps ♥️
