SO because so many of my much loved clients who I call friends of my extended family are promoting me so well that for everybody who constantly recommends me on local groups and who has grown my cute, bespoke business. I thought this would be a lovely photo to share my exciting news (taken in Suffolk last week) No I’m not pregnant with a puppy 😂

Firstly thank you to all my amazing clients who I also call friends who have continuously recommended me on the local doggy groups for really everything dog !! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart because it means so much ❤️

For two years now I’ve been working so hard to build my cute bespoke business at Hairy Hounds. I’ve tried to keep it as unique as possible and making all those homemade doggy cakes and dinners for the fur babies who come to visit for spa days and dog training holidays.

It is now time and I feel totally ready to expand.

Over the coming weeks and months I will have a new website dedicated to dog training, board and train stays along with an expansion on dog walks that already have the added bonus of training. I will also have further availability on pop in visits so that dogs can stay in the comfort of their home should they require.

My current grooming website will also undergo some changes with simply focusing on dog grooming and courses for students. (I will be investing more time in offering more owner grooming days and taster days) how to handle difficult dogs who are fearful of groomers) how we change that negative association to positive.

Also looking further into the future I want to offer free rehabilitation for rescue dogs that are struggling to find homes in the UK and offer free grooms to rescue dogs who have been rescued and are sitting in rescue centres who need a little extra cuteness 💗

So here is the start of a very exciting future for us 🐾

Hairy Hounds Dog Grooming Academy is a bespoke business setup from my love of dogs, because they are my passion in life ❤️ We are situated on a 3.5 acre plot in a tranquil, countryside location in Wickford, Essex. I hold a level 3 OCN qualification in dog grooming and an Advanced pro training pet First Aid instructor level 3 qualification, along with multiple dog training courses. I offer a one-to-one grooming experience for nervous and aggressive dogs. I take time to condition the dog to grooming and training, turning what can be a stressful time for the dog into a fun and rewarding experience both on and off the grooming table. We offer multiple grooming courses in and out of Essex for all different levels of experience... Maybe you are looking at saving money and grooming your dog yourself or, you might be looking to work alongside me on a part time or full time grooming course. Perhaps you are interested in learning all the different techniques of the work that goes into becoming a professional dog groomer. We can provide an advanced teeth cleaning service for your pets which is completely stress free. We will work with your dog to desensitise your dog so that home brushing becomes a much easier task for you to keep those teeth pearly white and in tip top condition. We also offer fun dog walks with the added bonus of training whilst we walk. We have a large fully enclosed field with agility equipment for your dogs to enjoy. Puppy development courses and a board and train service if you are looking for more intense training for your dog. A huge shout out Boycie who I have been working with for the last couple of months on solo walks that come with training. He could not focus on any commands out and was fixated on other dogs. Here he is now smashing it 🐾 clever boy Boycie xx

Home made spa gifts for all the fur babies who visit. Cracker is not silly 🥰

Bruce has been walking with me for a couple of weeks now and used to have to be on a front harness due to his pulling strength. With lots of fun training and consistency from his mums we have a achieved this today. 😊 good boy Bruce 👏 and today he got to wear a harness not for his pulling but lots of fun out tracking with me.

I just wanted to say a big Thank you to everybody who is recommending me 🐾 I’m really excited to say that I’ve had so much interest in my dog walking and doggy days out that in February 2022 I will be looking to put on a puppy enrichment hour. This will be designed to socialise your puppies but with basic training. Collection and drop home will also be available.
