My favourite colour at the moment! I have to admit that I'm keeping a bit of this rope to make a collar & lead for my next dog :D.

I like the surprise element of working with reclaimed materials. I never know what ropes I receive. Some ropes are easier to work with than others, some come to me looking almost new, some are so dirty I'm surprised what colour they turn out to be when scrubbed and washed.
Occasionally I get several ropes in the same colour, but most of the time each batch is truly a limited edition.

Hello 🤗 I have some good news, Dyno Dog Gear is open again. It's been quiet here for a long while due to personal circumstances. I'm excited to be back and making again.

Thank you to everyone who messaged me, whether asking for a collar/lead, custom orders, wanting to donate rope, or to work with me 💕 I value every single message I got and it is what motivated me to return.

Life is still a bumpy road for me but Dyno Dog Gear helped me to get out of a bad place once before. So let's get creative and save some rope from going to landfill.

Hands up, who is ready for summer?

As much as I love proper snowy winter, I'm definitely getting excited about summer. One of the perks of moving to the Borders is a garden, yay! I have already prepared two vegetable patches and got some seeds on the go in a mini greenhouse. I can't wait for those summery evenings and dinners outside with a glass of wine.

Have you had a chance to play in the snow this year? ☃❄️

I managed to go to Slovakia this winter and see my family after a year and half. Lots of forest walks with the wolf and furry cuddles from my family's cats and dogs. Merry the wolf doesn't like to cuddle very much😅

Super excited about my new labels!

I'm pleased with how they turned out. Neutral offwhite and black will look good on any dog collars. Working with reclaimed materials you never know what you'll get and climbing ropes come in so many great and vibrant colours!

Tiger - Upcycled climbing rope dog lead and collar. This one will beautifully stand out on black fur 🐾🙂.

Tough lead is secured with metal clamps for safety of your pup. Available in different lengths, with a screwgate carabiner or stainless steel clip. All made in my kitchen studio in Edinburgh.

Paired with high-quality components. You can choose a screw-gate carabiner or stainless steel trigger clip and there are five different length options 🐾

I have have been making leads and collars for over a year now and the website has been in the making for a long time. And it's finally here and it feels official 😁

I'm also very excited to be making and upcycling again after a break. Hope you love my new range 🐾.

It's been rather quite here, apologises. I have taken a break from making because life got busy.

Thank you for all your lovely messages during this time, requests for leads and collars, photos you have shared and reviews. It truly warms my heart and has kept me motivated to carry on rescuing retired ropes. I have missed creating new things from old rope and sending it off on new adventures with your doggies.

This purple lead was made from one of our own retired ropes. It's almost hard to believe that it all started with this rope! And here we're, Dyno Dog Gear is almost one and about to launch it's own website 😁

The very last one of these is available on my Etsy shop along with some other colours. I rescued some leads from a shop where I sell them. Grab them, they've been waiting for too long for doggy walks 🐾
