Summer is on the way!! Along with summer comes the heat an whilst we, may love the sun and the heat our pets however, may not.

Because of their furry coats they can easily over heat and get sun stroke!

Make sure to keep an eye out for these signs!
❗️Panting which increases as heatstroke progresses
❗️Drooling, salivating
❗️Agitation, restlessness
❗️Very red or pale gums
❗️Bright red tongue
❗️ Increased heart rate
❗️ Breathing distress
❗️ Vomiting Diarrhea (possibly with blood)
❗️Signs of mental confusion, delirium
❗️ Dizziness, staggering
❗️ Lethargy, weakness
❗️ Muscle tremors
❗️Seizures
❗️Collapsing and lying down
❗️Little to no urine production
If you notice these signs make sure to contact your vet!

He and 8 other dogs were kept on lashes in a kennel without any roof. There was no place for them to go if it snowed or rained, and they also could not move. Many of the paws of the dogs were frostbitten because of the bad weather.
