She's come on so much the past 3 weeks with her hacking and schooling!

After 6 weeks off my little Connie X mare is back in work. Lightly backed over the summer and autumn and given a few weeks off, I'm excited to get back into a little routine with her.
She is feeling absolutely lovely to ride, other than being a bit fat and a bit lazy but fitness can come and I'm always happy if my horses have wintered well. Bring on the spring 💪
I love this little mare, she is FAB 😍

I'm in the process of backing this 6 year old mare. Over the last few weeks we have been doing a lot of in hand walks to build her confidence and desensitize her to traffic, as well as all the other things she may come across in a hacking situation.

I like taking her past this allotment as there is a lot going on visually. The first time we walked this route she was very looky and alert. Today, not phased at all and taking everything in her stride!

It was also 'bin day' so she experienced the bin lorry and lots of black bags and wheelie bins during our walk and she was not phased by anything 🥰
