Problem parrots welfare organisation - parrot rescue charity Problem Parrots is a UK registered charity set up to offer parrot rehoming and advice on avian care

This is our page dedicated to showcasing some of the special birds needing new homes and Success Stories of parrots who have already found their forever families. Our Facebook Messenger is not monitored, but we are always happy to give advice and answer any questions you may have via email or through the Contact Us tab of the website. The Problem Parrots website offers advice, information

on various species of birds, and individual profiles of the parrots waiting to be adopted. We also have a very friendly Facebook group, Problem Parrots Extra, which is full of parrot lovers waiting to help with all aspects of avian care. If you think you could offer a good home to one the charity’s lovely birds, please do not hesitate to fill out an application on the website.

So as most of you have noticed we have been very quiet on socials for the past 6 months plus .

We have been having difficulties with our website which is nearly sorted .

Rehoming has been non existent which we are trying to sort with new write ups and new website . If anyone has seen a bird they would like to adopt or have any interest in adopting from us please drop me an email [email protected] and I can have a chat with you and try to help match you to a bird we have within the charity .

To all current safehousing thank you for your patience and understanding and if you could post some pictures of your safehouse birds with there PP number that would help people see whose needing a new home

We have our new aviary up with 9 birds in all happily living together ... we need to winter proof the aviary (wooden surround, polycarbonate sheeting and solar panels for heaters) would you all help us raise some money for the parrots and get this sorted before winter hits 😀

VOLUNTEER WITH US!

We are currently looking for some enthusiastic volunteers to join our team Problem parrots welfare organisation - parrot rescue charity

If you are passionate about being part of a great team or making a difference, then volunteering for Problem parrots is definitely for you!

We are looking for people interested in volunteering their time to any of the following:

- Bird keeping team (safehousing)
- Rescue Team (driving role)
- Homechecker Team (driving role)
- Grant writing
- Events team
- Show team

All of our volunteer positions are flexible to work around yourself.

If you are interested in any of these above volunteer roles, and would like to know more, or can volunteer a different skill not listed, please head to our website or email our main email address [email protected]
