A very tired & muddy Bracken after another day out beating. He did 2 drives yesterday as well. For a youngster he's working really well. I'm keeping him on the lead at flushing points so he can't go wrong but he's hunting nicely through rough grass, hedges & brambles. 🤞😊

Bracken chilling (for 30 seconds) after his first day beating. I'm very pleased with how he behaved, sitting quietly off lead waiting for drives to start. I realise that he hadn't a clue what was going on & future days may not be quite so calm.... although he did flush some birds 🥰

Gean happy to be out working today but tried to hide himself in a pile of logs at the end of the day! I think he was over-tired & was trying to avoid getting in the car.

Willow (Gean's dam) is 12 in February but she still loves to work. She sleeps soundly in the evening but is then raring to go the next day 😊. I make sure the day isn't too long for her as she still doesn't know how to pace herself 😁

Rowan was convinced he was on picking up duty today but was actually in the beating line! Not something he's done much recently but he remembers his early training & is working really well 😊
