If you’ve got a holiday booked and need care for your cat while you’re away, I have the availability for 30 min or 1 hour slots. Within this time, it will cover feeding and giving fresh water, cleaning out litter trays, and if your cat is sociable, lots of cuddles and play.

Woodland walk with Bernie. 💛

Me and Bernie spent a few hours together this morning, we went to the woods for a shaded walk to keep out of the heat and sun. This was our first walk together, so we kept the longline on and practiced recall. This walk was about building some trust in each other and Bernie getting comfortable with me. He was a super boy, so well behaved and we really enjoyed our walk together! 🌳

Meet Dug 🥺💛

I spent part of the day looking after this little guy today, he’s only 9 weeks old and so sweet!

Dug’s parents were out all day so I kept him company with lots of cuddles, gave him his lunch, toilet breaks, and we practiced him coming to me when his name is called.

🤍 Pip & June refresh! New area, services & pricing 🤍

After keeping my books closed and only working with a select few clients in Suffolk, I’m now open to new clients again since moving back to Norfolk! I’m covering New Buckenham and surrounding areas. Predominately doing pet visits while owners are on holiday and solo dog walks.

I will also be offering a canicross service for dogs who partake in this sport. This is for dogs with canicross experience and have correct equipment. I am unable to take on novice dogs for this at present.

AM Visits
🤍 Feeding breakfast to the cats
💊 Giving medication to one of the cats
🌽 Topping up chicken feed and water
🧼 Cleaning out the litter tray if needed

PM Visits
🌝 Putting the chickens to bed & shutting the coop
⭐️ Feeding the cats dinner
🧼 Cleaning out the litter tray if needed

One of the cats (the super fluffy one!) needed medication each morning, so I ensured she had this which was mixed in with a yummy treat. This gave the owners peace of mind that Ember was still having her medication to make her better while they were away. ☺️

I have availability over the next few months for any small pet visits including across the Christmas period.🎄

Goat care 🐐🤍

So happy that this week I’m looking after some goats! Look how gorgeous they are 😍 they are having two daily visits to cover their care needs.

This mornings visit included:

🌱 Giving them breakfast
🌾 Topping up the hay
💦 Giving fresh water
🧹 Cleaning the stable and concrete pad
🐐 Taking them out into the field
⭐️ Prepping their dinner and the stable ready for bedtime

If you’ve got livestock animals that need taking care of while you’re away, this is something that I can most definitely help with!

Following on from the previous post all about Solo Walks, here are the benefits of a Group Walk and what dogs will be best suited for this service…

🐾 Great for dogs that thrive in other dogs company, whether that’s for a play or simply co-existing on the walk *
🐾 If your dog travels well in the car, they’ll likely spend longer time out of the house by coming along for the collections & drop offs
🐾 Ideal for dogs who enjoy a good run around!
🐾 If your dog is quite shy and struggles to come out of their shell, the company of other confident dogs can boost their own confidence!
🐾 They get to build amazing bonds and friendships with other dogs, they can get so excited to see their buddies
🐾 Group Walks tend to mean we explore different walking routes compared to Solo Walks
🐾 Group Walks can also include the hire of a secure dog field with various equipment in them, plus with it being secure, your dog can be let off the lead safely if their recall isn’t 100%
🐾 Even if you’re at home and not needing the walk purely because the dog is alone, this service can be a great way for your dog to get that interaction with others if this is something you struggle to provide yourself

* Before any dogs joins a Group Walk, we will have a number of Solos to build up some trust between each other. This also gives me time to assess your dog to see what other dogs they would match well with. Some dogs love a playful dog that are very bouncy, whereas others can only tolerate little to no play, therefore they have to be matched correctly. All groups are kept to a maximum of 4-5 so my attention isn’t hugely split across too many dogs.

Each dog has individual needs, and here is how a solo walk could benefit your dog and be best suited…

🐾 Full attention is on your dog as there aren’t other dogs to focus on
🐾 Best suited if your dog isn’t keen on other dogs company or is reactive, a solo walk will keep them happy and comfortable
🐾 Great for older dogs who go at a lower pace and prefer to sniff
🐾 The walk can be completely tailored to your dogs needs, for example if you’ve been doing some training, I can implement this into the walks
🐾 Ideal for dogs that don’t travel well in the car, they don’t have to come on the journey of collecting & dropping off other group dogs
🐾 Suitable for dogs who have joint issues and aren’t allowed to bounce around & play with other dogs

More games today for a home visit instead of a walk. Floki very much enjoyed this Kong toy and bugged me to re-fill it a few times 😂💙

It was very hot today when Jet was meant to have a walk, so we swapped the walk for a garden visit. We played “find it” with some treats, this was my first time playing this game with him, he got the hang of it pretty quickly! 👏🏼

It doesn’t matter how cold it is outside, if Digby has the chance to be in water, he’s in it! 💦

It’s been lovely to see Marco come out of his shell and become more comfortable with me each day I see him. When I arrive in the morning and evening, he now comes to me for some fuss. 🥰
